My friend is buying a female Puggle puppy for her child. The breeder said the puppy has a Umbillical Hernia which means that there is a tiny big of fat where the umbillical cord was and that it may go away on it's own or fixed when it is spayed. We have never heard of this before and are a bit worried bcz we dont know if its long term and could cost a lot. Has anyone ever heard of this or has had a dog that has had this and is it recommended to buy the dog anyway?

i am a doctor, and was really dedicated to my work when i lived over in the uk.
when i moved to the states i gave up my job to be with my son, and also my certifications were not accepeted over here so i would have to do a couple of years retraining.
then i was approached by another doctor who asked me to work with him with him supervising me so i would not have to retrain.
my husband was dead against it, but said if i really wanted to i could, now i find out im pregnant with another child - and now i really dont know what to do, i cant very well leave two kids with my mother in law, im really torn, and i know it should be an easy descision - anyone got any advice.
i have not told the doctor im pregnant yet as i dont want to completely cut off that avenue, but he is going to need a response in a few days.
i dont even know what advice i want - i guess i am just confused and a bit depressed, so any advice would be good

I'm 15, and my parents aren't very religious, along with the rest of my family. We used to go to church when I was younger (think Pre-K) and I went to Sunday School and such. I've been told that we stopped going because my parents wanted us to grow up to believe what we choose to, and that they don't want to force us to do anything we don't want to, and I respect them for that. I'm Methodist, and the church is about 2 blocks from my house.

But, like I asked (I tend to ramble a bit), I don't know how to ask my parents if I can go to church. They're pretty open to things like this, but religion is such a touchy subject, and I'm not sure how to approach this.

Well, I and my boyfriend had this fight last night and I want to discuss it with you.
We are in a 6-month relationship. We done pretty well up to now, but last night my boyfriend told me that he does not want to bond with me too much, and he does not want me to think we will end up together. Which I assumed it as saying: " I'm tired of you let's break up!"
He was the one who brought the subject of getting married up, and I was the wan who asked him not to rush things. Now that he has a better job, better condition and a promotion thanks to my help, he wants me to "let him end this relationship whenever he wants."
Or as he said: "we should be free to leave this and the other one should respect the decision."
I think I want to breakup with him and I think what he said is a humiliation, But he thinks that he is right. No for his information if you were in my place would you stay with such a guy?

Is she trying to artifically create a "need" for socialize medicine by preventing the doctor and the patient to be in charge of health care?

Hillary Clinton voted against providing seniors with a prescription drug benefit.
She voted against allowing people to save tax free for their out-of-pocket medical expenses.
She voted against medical liability reform so that docs are not forced out of practice by junk lawsuits.
She opposes leveling the playing field so that people who pay for health insurance out of their own pocket get the same tax break the big corporations get for providing health care benefits to their employees.
She’s against allowing people to shop for health insurance across state lines like we do with auto insurance so the consumers would have more choices and there’d be competition to get your business, give you more for less.
and now she’s voting for penalizing seniors who have those private health care plans through Medicare.

There was this man on my contacts list. I thought at first hat he was a caring friend. He always tells me to think positive, but every one of my questions that I ask, he always answers them in an exasperated & insulting way. Isn't that contradictory? on 8-21-2007, I dreamed I met a man who worked in Illinois. I live in Missouri by the way and we began to talk and then next thing you know we were in a bathroom kissing each other passionately. But then he wanted to have sex and I said no, he began to be forceful and I can remeber feeling fearful that he might beat me up in this dream. But I kept begging him no and tried to escape, that's when another guy came out of the stall with no bottoms on, the guy I met had no bottoms on and neither did I. I was about to be gang raped in this dream. I also remember smelling a fishy smell on his face and body as he was trying to attack me. I manage to break away temporarily and get outsid ein the daylight, but they followed me and quickly caught me ...And we still had no bottoms on. People saw all of this happening and I knew that they knew, they were trying to rape me but they did nothing . And that's all I remember. does this dream mean anything
