There was this man on my contacts list. I thought at first hat he was a caring friend. He always tells me to think positive, but every one of my questions that I ask, he always answers them in an exasperated & insulting way. Isn't that contradictory? Today he posted an answer that made me so mad I had to take him off my contacts & block him. If my questions annoy him, then he shouldn't answer, right?

***& he also gives my questions a star when HE THINKS I'm making a fool out of myself.

Well you don't give a lot of specifics, so I can't answer very specifically, but in general, if a person says one thing but his actions say something else, then yes, that seems fake to me.

If he is your "friend" then he shouldn't really be posting answers to your questions that are insulting, but rather discuss with you one on one why he thinks your question isn't correct.

I can only assume you are referring to "Grand pa" who answered your previous question with "I have to many other problems to take of that are more important".

To me, that's a pretty dumb and insulting answer, and basically says, I'm an idiot with nothing pertinent to say on this subject, but I know if I say anything, I can at least get a couple points for answering, so here goes.

If that's the guy you're referring to, he's not your friend, and not particular smart, nor is he providing anything useful to Yahoo answers by leaving such irrelevant answers just to rack up points.

He may not be fake; he may be one of those people who cannot control his evilness and it comes out eventually.

He is very manipulative. He was trying, by answering sympathetically, to get you to say more. Nosy old buzzard; I am glad you blocked him.

Good thing you blocked him. There are enough losers in the world.
And yeah, he was obviously just saying things to get under your skin.

Yeah i would've done the same thing you did. Just block him, if he annoys you. It makes life simplier.

the main thing is if he is annoying you, you get rid of him like you did!!! who cares about what annoys him or not. It is NOT all about him it is about what makes you comfortable.

you made the right choice.

Yeah , if he didn't like your questions then he should have either told you politely and tell you why or just simply not read them
