I'm a lance corporal (E-3) in the marine corps, and yes, I have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. My job is to find IED's on the side of the road, so that the civilians we escort do not get hurt. If one of them gets hurt instead of me, I have failed. I make about $2000 a month. No one signs up for money. We do it for the love of God, Country, and Corps. Honor, Courage, and Commitment are our values.

So the next time you see anyone in the military, go up to them and give them $26.00 .

It's hardly the "most dangerous job in the world," that's a little biases. >.>

Anyways, America does not have a draft in effect. Anyone who goes into the army (no matter the circumstance) is doing so from their own free will. If they are lucky enough to be safe throughout their endeavors, the army takes care of them for life.

Because they are under appricated and the government would rather give our money to lazy people and illegals who can work but dont want to and would rather pop out kid after kid after kid and take more money from the government because they can't keep their legs closed.
