Being Makedonian I will vote for nobody. Neither of the leadership parties promoted our national interests, and as for the left parties, they have a bad record concerning ideas and attitude in respect with our northern neighbours.

I haven't decided yet.The only thing I'm sure of is that my vote won't go to neither of the big parties,PASOK or Nea Dimokratia.I think those two parties and their politicians are rotten to the bone.I doubt if there are any decent politicians in our country cause everyone who gets involved in politics is doing that in order to promote his/her own agenda.I will read all the pre-election pamphlets of all the other parties, will do a search on the net and will go vote.I know nothing will change, and one of the big ones will win,but I will at least do something to express my dissatisfaction on the way they rule our country. If I find no one that I believe I will go and vote for no one(leuko) or because I heard somewhere that those votes count for the party that is winning(is that true?) I will cast a vote that will be canceled(akuro),on which I will have written my exact opinion about politicians and politics in general :)

I have decided...I really believe that there's no such thing as "the best for the country" bc what will happen is more or less pre-decided by other factors but I feel that having a government that will be strong enough to support its decisions is crucial so that the country has stability and doesn't go to elections again and again...

The electoral system in Greece is a trap for all undecided voters.
If you vote for a small party (that will likely not make it to the parliament), then it is like voting for the strongest party = votes are transferred to that party.
If your vote is just "white" or "non-valid", then it is like voting again for the strongest party = votes are transferred to that party.
If you don't vote at all, they wish you all the best: you just made life easier for the strongest party as you increase polarization and, thus the relative difference between the two major parties.
Assuming a process such as "thinking" is happening somewhere in our brain..I am wondering how we cannot be puzzled...:)
Happy voting!

This time I am not going to vote for the same party that I supported for over 30 years. They have betrayed their leftist philosophy, they are destroying the environment (or what is left from the previous, right-wing parties' greed). 'My party' has been a great disappointment for many. This is the first and the last time they will be in power. We overthrew Denktas and elected these people to make a change in internal and external politics. However, they are now using almost the same rhetoric.
The governement offices are like holiday spots; people come and go whenever they like. There is no work discipline. And now they are taking high-voltage electricity to our only National Park (nature reserve) Karpaz peninsula, which will destroy all flora and fauna (we have endemic flowers), and unspoiled beaches, where caretta caretta come to lay eggs. This is an unforgivable act of hatred for environment.

i m not 18 yet and i certainly dont consider myself as one of those who mix with the politics but i think that ND actually finished what PASOK started.finally i would vote KKE if it would follow the true meaning of Communism but that party is a lie too.so...if i voted,i d vote nothing.i d give an empty paper.theres no one who can really see what we need and if he sees them,he s doing nothing.theres no meaning in politics, only money

As from 1992, when I got involved in the ecological issue, I realized that both parties which govern Greece for longer than half a century (under different names but with leaders belonging to two opponent families), have caused such a great damage to the environment that their leaders and collaborators, as well as many of their fanatic supporters should be convicted to life sentence for violation not only of the penal code, but also of any ethic law.
Our country was a paradise on earth and they turned it to an enviromental hell.
I will not evoke any details, we are all aware of the catastrophy, and who is to be held responsible (including voters).
As to minor parties, I would never vote for "synaspismos" under its present leadership, as it offends my aesthetics. What remains? The traditional Left (just for reaction) or abstainance from voting.

Basically undecided, I guess. I've no idea who I'll vote for, but have a half-dozen I've already decided I'll vote AGAINST, no matter what.
