After painstakingly looking for, downloading, and configuring my emulator, I finally got it working. I ran the ISO and the video and audio was going at double (probably even triple) the normal speed. This is the emulator and all the stuff that might be the cause:

Emulator: ePSXe 160
Bios: scph1001
Video plugin: Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.76
Sound plugin: ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2.
Cdrom plugin: ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.
ISO: Final Fantasy IX disk one

Do I need different plugins? Do I need to just check/uncheck some of the configuration boxes? If anyone can help it would be sooo apreciated!

A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where they spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier. Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel plans. So, the husband left Minneapolis and flew to Florida on Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day. The husband checked into the hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an email to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and without realizing his error, sent the email.

Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He was a minister who was called home to glory following a heart attack. The widow decided to check her email expecting messages from relatives and friends. After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted.

Sorry for the vague wording of the question but I couldn't think of anything more fitting.

I'm not trying to call anyone out here, but I just read this statement "The USA would certainly benefit from a high gas tax, but the population would not stand for it, so it won't happen." posted by a frequenter of this section.

I cannot believe that anyone could actually think this way. When taxes on necessary goods are raised, it only hurts the poor while the rich continue to overconsume. I think that principle is pretty easy to comprehend. And gasoline IS a necessity for many people in America. It is easy to forget that sometimes for those of us who live in areas with good public transportation, but most of America lives in rural areas or small towns and many of them are struggling to make a living.

If we ever have the need to drastically reduce gasoline consumption, it should be a ration where everyone gets an opportunity to purchase an equal amount at fair price, not a tax.

that you "cracked their shell" ...and they don't know how they feel about that... how should you respond?

He said, "you're just good at everything. You've really cracked my shell - and I don't know how I feel about that..."

I assume it's a good thing, but now that he's said that - he's backing off a little bit. I am giving him his space. I always have, so it's not like I am all over the guy calling him and everything. He's no the type of guy who likes to feel vulnerable.

Ok ..here it goes..

I have deep suspiciousions that my husband of 14 years is having sex with my best friend. All the signs are there, but I keep doubting my "gut feeling" so to speak. My friend is not an attractive girl at all and she is known to "get around". She brags about all the men she has all the time. Recently, my husband has changed his behavior drastically. We haven't had sex in atleast 4 months or so, he has been distant and cold and cancelled his direct deposit so I can 't see where his money is going. I also noticed that they act VERY strange when they are around me, which was never the case. They would always say hello, but now they act like they don't know each other. Sometimes I do catch them making eye contact behind my back. My friend is also treating much differently, we were very close, now we never hang out together....

Any suggestions as to what might be going on?? Am I jumping to conclusions or could I be right??

Im trying to determine what career feild to go into!!

Either a elementary school teacher.
If I went in to this career...I would eventually get a masters degree and go into school counseling!

OR--ultrasound technician! It sounds interesting to me! Makes a decent salary!

The main thing I live for though is having a family...I dont have kids yet, but I am thinking about it soon! I also want to be able to support them with a decent salary!
My husband is in the airforce!

My client wants me to submit an hourly rate and I have no clue what to charge her. I make roughly 30,000 at my firm right now, and I want to be fair to her because she is a former boss.

Dear Muslims and those who believe in God,
My dear gran has been feeling ill recently and has been in hospital twice. I am very worried about her. Alhumdulillah she has always been in good health but recently she has had alot of worries and the stress and pressure has made her ill. I am praying for her, I hope God will make her well again InshaAllah (God willing). I request please, would you also pray for my gran?? I am praying for her and so is my family but it would be great if you would pray for her too. I believe in power in numbers, my prayers are with her and I wish for all of your prayers to reach her too. I am very worried about her, I have never seen her this ill before. I hope InshaAllah (God willing) she will get well soon.

I was told that it is not a good idea to physically punish my puppy, I keep firmly saying "no", but she keeps biting. Every time I raise my voice she barks at me. She is wonderful, she is almost potty trained and she loves her crate, but we can not even play with her, she bites us! Her little teeth are so sharp. What should we do?

There are talks about exiting Iraq and consequences of exiting. Among those consequences is ethnic cleansing and total Iraqi government break down. If the US retreats could another country enter Iraq and use the ethnic cleansing and violence as an excuse for them to enter the now extremely vulnerable Iraq and severly cripple them with the type of bombing and force that usually opens most wars?

Will this allow them to set up their own backed government and laws the way the US is currently trying to do in Iraq and secure their rights to the oil reserves?

I can pee when im alone or some were no one can see me like were the toilet is usually at, butt when the toilets are occupied and the urinals are empty I cant pee because theirs
people waiting behind me or peeing near me, It pisses me off that my friends can pee any were they like, butt when its my turn there like were the hell are you going and im going to find a comfortable place to pee. Its so sad because I like to drink beer and when I do my blatter is so fool that I feel it will explode if im not somewhere comfortable peeing.
