Why are Hispanics so open to interracial dating/marriage?

Is it because Hispanics can be any color and Hispanics tend to be unassuming people for the most part who don't let social norms be their "social pimp" like many whites!?!?

this is only my opinion and something I think is probablly the case, rather than a sociological study on hispanic family groups so here goes......

Y'know how caucasian folks have such communication breakdown in their families due to NOT communicating properly, they never really keep their cards on the table and such (and I can say this as I am white and non-latino)? Well, think of that and take a good look at how hispanic folks interact with each other. They are passionate folk and communicate with each other and put those cards out on the family table, so to speak, so they actually wind up with fewer hang-ups and what-not cause that level of communication and passion usually winds up being more healthy for the individuals and so they feel more freedom to act true to their feelings and live their truths.

Mind you, I communicate passionately with my family, even though we are white, and it sure as heck works out well for us!

Well, if you go back, there was very little racial-based conflict with Hispanics, not to mention a lack of cultural taboo. Also there is the whole diversity in appearance. I'm Hispanic, and I'm just a darker shade of white, while some Hispanics I know are very dark skinned. I guess there is nothing stopping them.

Im down for it but i just dont want other races to think im interested in them cause i "need" them. I hate when men think we must be into them because without them we would die. Why do they think being alone is such an issue. As a black female i have no trouble being independent and doing what i need to do without a man tagging along. If i need a man i will get one and right now i dont need drama in my life and men these days are all drama, cheaterse, liers, fake, two timing.. okay i am done.. lets just say my studies come first for now. I have no time to deal with heartache since relationships only seem to bring me that. A good man is a good man and these days they are hard to find.

Let´s check the hypothesis inside your question:

For each hispanic open to "interracial dating/marriage" there is some other -non hispanic- open too. In consequence, your perception, which constitutes empirical data, is not neccesarily correct.

Hispanics are open to "interracial dating/marriage" for the same reasons non hispanics have (to be open to that). Let´s not search race diferences where there are not.

That would be like asking why do people date each other and get married?
Who cares about nationality and skin color, it's the person on the inside that matters. Some day people will get this through their thick skulls and stop judging people based on their color and or nationality. Wake up and get with the program people!!!!
