Muchly is not a correct English word,nor is it the name of the dog you are referring to.
The dogs name is Mutley.

It's not correct English, but it has been in regional use for longer than Dick Dastardly - mostly in the expression "ta muchly"

Dicks dog is Mutley. Muchly is not really a word, but its sometimes used a bit like slang :)
