After painstakingly looking for, downloading, and configuring my emulator, I finally got it working. I ran the ISO and the video and audio was going at double (probably even triple) the normal speed. This is the emulator and all the stuff that might be the cause:

Emulator: ePSXe 160
Bios: scph1001
Video plugin: Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.76
Sound plugin: ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2.
Cdrom plugin: ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.
ISO: Final Fantasy IX disk one

Do I need different plugins? Do I need to just check/uncheck some of the configuration boxes? If anyone can help it would be sooo apreciated!

I haven't used this particular emulator, but is there some sort of a "throttle" option? You can turn the throttle to 100%, instead of "Automatic". That way, it will force the game to run at its normal speed.
