To those in R&S, when you read a comment, do you give it a thumbs up or thumbs down depending on whether you agree with the person or whether that person's comment is useful and relevant?
Isn't it our duty to be impartial with giving thumbs up or thumbs down? Wouldn't that stop a lot of anger and insults of ignorance? If a comment is useful, should we not give it a thumbs up no matter how we feel on the subject?
This forum has opposing views. Good posts are thumbs downed all the time because a certain group of people do not believe in the context of that post. Why?
Example Q&A:
Q: What are your feelings about religion?
A1: OMG I am a Hindu and Jews should be sent to an island by themselves to die!!!! 5 Thumbs up, 1 Thumbs down
A2: Religion is a cultural phenomenon marked by scriptures, including the Qur'an and the Bible. As a devout Christian, I believe that we should all be loved and accepted, but that I believe in God. I advise reading the Bible. 1 Thumbs down, 5 Thumbs up.
