Later when I opened it again, everything I customized was back in the layout that Safari has when it

is the ensuing violence really a preferred alternative to just letting everyone live in this country without your evangelizing-through-government-channels?

I can't figure what the alternative is to A) you letting up B) everyone else conforming C) everyone else going to some magical island kingdom what offers TRUE liberty or D) violent revolution (see history of the world for more on this topic)

i saw an ad for this device in a newspaper (it looks like an ipod, comes with earplugs)...it claims to help the hard of hearing by increasing volume without bothering others. has anyone tried this device? does it really work? it costs $14.99 (+ $6.99 s & h) and has a website at www.buylistenup.com. i'd like to know if anyone has used this and how they like it.

Hi All.

I'm currently trying to get fit. I joined a gym, and I go every other day and so far it's working out pretty well. I've lost 10lbs just from the physical activity.

Now it gets hard. Obviously, I have to change the way I eat. Although, *thats* the hard part. Since it's the summer and I'm a student, I'm currently working at McDonalds. The problem is... I'm going to get a lot of 8 hour shifts, and the food is very tempting at 50% off.

Any ideas on what food to take with me to work, so that I can eat healthy while there? I get bored with food easily, so anything that can change it up and make it exciting would be great.

Thanks in advance.

...how is it that not one President in our 231 year history has never at least attempted to use it to overthrow the government and install himself as a dictator? Such action would obviously be completely unconstitutional, but if a President has thousands of heavily-armed soldiers backing him up, is there really anything that the few wimpy politicians in Congress could do about it? Or are the Supreme Court justices going to condemn him if there are a sea of tanks encircling the Court house? And a rogue president like this could ensure obedience from his generals by promising them well-paid positions after the coup is over with. I'm certainly not advocating it, but it just seems like it would be so EASY to pull off. Why is it that we have never had a crazy, power-hungry President try this?

My boss is pretty attractive, but shes at least 15 years older than me if not more. She is constantly flirting with me. She came by today just to say hi when I washing dishes at work. I will be 18 in October. She's always asking me for her to sing a song to me. She calls me Greggy which is a big thing that if girls like me they would call me that. What do you guys think?

What do I need to get a tax break for filing taxes, i.e. I have a 3 week old who is going to have a babysitter for aprox. 10-15 hours a week at $5/hr for the remainder of the year. Do I need some kind of receipt to prove what I paid each week? It's going to be an individual and not an organization. Any other advice (what can I get back when filing? etc) would be appreciated as well.

To those in R&S, when you read a comment, do you give it a thumbs up or thumbs down depending on whether you agree with the person or whether that person's comment is useful and relevant?

Isn't it our duty to be impartial with giving thumbs up or thumbs down? Wouldn't that stop a lot of anger and insults of ignorance? If a comment is useful, should we not give it a thumbs up no matter how we feel on the subject?

This forum has opposing views. Good posts are thumbs downed all the time because a certain group of people do not believe in the context of that post. Why?

Example Q&A:
Q: What are your feelings about religion?

A1: OMG I am a Hindu and Jews should be sent to an island by themselves to die!!!! 5 Thumbs up, 1 Thumbs down

A2: Religion is a cultural phenomenon marked by scriptures, including the Qur'an and the Bible. As a devout Christian, I believe that we should all be loved and accepted, but that I believe in God. I advise reading the Bible. 1 Thumbs down, 5 Thumbs up.
