i was made redundant 7 weeks ago, living off benefits now, i am prepared to do any kind of work just to get back into employment, i have applied for over 40 jobs, which i never got, the main feedback i got is that i am over qualified for positions, i just want to work, do i have to lie on my cv and say i have no qualifications, just to get a job!!
i am registered with employment agency's but nothing seems to be happening with them
i just want to work..

Stop talking to me, she follows me everywhere and won't shut up. She always talks about mindless dribble and thinks I'm interested in this stuff. How can I ever tell her in a nice way to get lost? Oh one last thing, to make things even worse she is a close talker!

Is anyone else LIVID at our administration? I'm very angry, I dont have cancer, but I have a long family history. I am afraid that one day I will get it, and I won't be able to afford to go to one of those places that can acutally help, that they'll just send me home to die. I am so angry at Bush, I'm angry about the war, I want America to be America instead of the place it's become. Do you think that with a different president in 2008 we can become a nation of healers again? Even President Chavez has very good health care for his citizens. I'm worried about out country.

We moved into our neighhood about 3 moths ago, since we have been in this house my husband has treated my neightbor horrible just because he didn't like their dogs. Well Friday my sons was out side playing when they fell into the pool. They are 3 yrs so they do not know how to swim. My husband looked out the window just in time to see both of my neighbors dogs ( they are Newfoundlands) jumping our fence. They had heard our sons fall into the water and rescued them. If it hadn't been for those animals, both of my kids would have been dead right now. We have been afraid of these huge dogs since we have lived here and now they saved my kids. What would be the best way to apologize to these neighbors that we have treated so badly?

Dream of Knives
Alfred Yuson

Last night I dreamt of a knife
I had bought for my son. Of rare design,
it went cheaply of its worth – short dagger
with fancily rounded pommel, and a wooden sheath
which miraculously revealed other miniature blades.

Oh how pleased he would be upon my return
from this journey, I thought. What rapture
will surely adorn his ten-year princeling's face
when he draws the gift the first time. What quivering
pleasure will most certainly be unleashed.

When I woke up, there was no return, no journey,
no gift, and no son beside me. Where do I search
for this knife then, and when do I begin to draw
happiness from reality, and why do I bleed so
from such sharp points of dreams?

I posted this question today and it was wildly misunderstood, and after learning how to add to my story so that it would clear up the misperceptions, I then decided to delete the story so that I could start again. Please comment after reading the whole story with additions:

I am 34, and quite a deadpan realist in most areas of life - I am super responsible, have been successfully self employed for years, work really very hard, am entrepeneurial in several different businesses (which requires a good dose of realism, and knowledge of how life works etc), pay my taxes on time, blah blah

I am blessed with enough charisma and charm to be popular at parties, am a v.good sportsman, have enough life experience to talk about anything to anyone, have travelled the world, and etc, and I have no problems attracting ladies. However, I am a deep romantic at heart - or one may call it sentimental.

I have a young lavendar bush in a pot but do not want it to grow out of control .. I would also like to use the cuttings as a air freshner in my home.. What is the best way to go about this , it is mid summer here now and the bush is growing well with buds just about to flower. Any pruning tips and tips regarding using/making the lavendar as a air freshner would be much appreciated.
