Stop talking to me, she follows me everywhere and won't shut up. She always talks about mindless dribble and thinks I'm interested in this stuff. How can I ever tell her in a nice way to get lost? Oh one last thing, to make things even worse she is a close talker!

Do the same, and start telling her all about the origin of Amazing Grace, The Best Works of Shakespeare, German history and anything too difficult for her to understand. In a while, she'd back off for fear of lack of words in your presence.

well first you need to make sure you are not sending out the wrong signals.. are you giving her the impression that you like her?
i think you need to subtly do it .. like when she starts talking about something that you dont want to know about kind of look the other way and make sure it looks like you are not interested. keep subtly doing this and she will feel that you are not interested in what she is saying..
Also, you could change the subject to something you want to talk about .. this way she would get an image of the sort of subjects that do and dont interest you
If however, she is a raving loony who wont take a hint i think you need to take her to the side and just say that she is being a bit clingy.. either way you need to do it carefully.. this girl probably likes you alot so be careful and sensitive

If this is at work, tell her you have work to do and cannot be spending your time listening to her. Anywhere else, tell her it was nice talking with her, but you have other things to do, and say goodbye.

Eat loads of garlic and drink lots of soda. When she's about, make a point of burping and farting every chance you get.
