This isn't a "yes/no" question. I know that the answer is "yes". I'm looking for specific examples.

This undoubtedly varies from state to state, but in general, in what ways, and to what extent, are parents in the US legally responsible for their teenagers' actions?

How does the justice system determine individual liability for a teenager (i.e. while still a minor living at home)?

I've never heard of it before- but I would be more interested in dying the upholstery to the sofa if possible.

I have a Hoover steam cleaner with and upholstery attachment that normally does a GREAT job, but this sofa is nearly white. With a mechanic for a husband and 4 cats, it just isn't working but the couch itself is in good shape and I can't afford to pay someone to reupholster it or buy a new one. I've also tried every cleaner possible, and even if there was something out there that would work the maintenance is just way to much to keep up with in my household!

I already have spent quite a bit on several different sofa covers- nice name brand ones too, Unfortunately I really really don't like them because the shape of the sofa. None of them look right at ALL and ALL of them, even when they claim they shouldn't, just slip all over the place and look even worse!

Does anyone know if there is a dye that I could use to darken up the entire sofa so stains won't look as bad

It's annoying and aggravating when they're asking for free software or how do they run something off of their hard drive instead of having the disk inserted in, and when you give them a good optimum solution they give you a thumbs down?

Example: Running a game that requires a cd inserted in. All you need to do is mount the .iso and poof, there you go! It's a lot safer then going to all those websites that can give you cracks but at the same time, can send virus', spyware, adware and all that jazz onto your computer.

Blah.

Sure, cracks may be a lot smaller in size but it really isn't a lot safer than .iso's if you don't know where to look and how to look for it. But, whatever.

Taken direct from the NSPCC website

There is no UK law stating the age at which a child can be left at home alone. However, parents can be prosecuted for wilful neglect if they leave a child alone or unsupervised "in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury to health" (Children and Young Persons Act 1933). Your neighbour may be having difficulties finding childcare. Perhaps the family is isolated and lacks the support of relatives and friends? As a neighbour, could you offer help with contacting local support services or with childcare? See People to talk to for organisations that offer childcare advice.

Looks like it's going to be wilful neglect then

I feel like I'm losing my mind. My life was pretty good. I was able to stay home and care for my kids. We were able to pay the bills, etc. But an old college loan surfaced that I had been looking for and is now a huge debt. Because of that, I now have to find a job. Because I've never done well at a job, I can't find anyone to hire me. I am miserable. I feel like my past is catching up with me and even though I want to move forward and take care of things, I'm stuck. I've even applied to WalMart, Target, and a grocery store and they don't want me. How do you get ahead with a bad past? I'm not even clear what I did wrong at past jobs, mostly they told me it was my personal issues. (I'm still not sure what personal issues). Is there a way to get past failures in my past or do you just throw in the towel? I don't see a positive side to this? I have no medical coverage either, so seeking help is out of the question, unfortunatly. Do you think I'm sick or just a big mess up?

I have eaten them both and I can not seem to figure out the difference in them? Is it just some kind of marketing ploy?

My daughter has recently started entering our local dance competitions. She is only 5 and therefore in the baby section. However we feel she has been misjudged and this didnt come from us as parents but lots of people from the contest have said this on her last 2 occassions of dancing. I just wondered if you could appeal to someone about the judge not being fair or not seeming to allocate points accordingly?
any help here would be appreciated as i am new to this whole thing.
thanx
