okay how do i know that this is love okay well i think about him every second of the day, i want to be with him day and night, i would do almost everything for him. is this love or just a crush???
p.s. i have felt this way about him for a year now.
we are like best friends

I would say that it is love, not a crush. If you have a crush on someone, it usually doesn't last that long. It wears away after a while unlike love, which sticks to you day and night. If you want to know if he loves you back, you have to make the first move. Take chances!

Well, everyone has their own definition of love but since you guys are close friends and you've felt this way for a year, it sounds like love to me. Granted, there are different types of love, but you can certainly love someone without being in a relationship with them. I know this sounds trite, but my best advice is that when it's really love you won't have to ask yourself if it is. I think you'll just know. I did. :) Good luck!

Being best friends is the best way to start a relationship. If you feel like this I can tell ya it's love. Go with it and just take it step by step.

You didn't get too many responses because if you have to ask it is most probably NOT love, but lust or a teenage crush. Also, next to "Am I pregnant", this is the most annoying question. Please at least phrase it originally.

Crush!!! when you get past crush and still like him, you begin love. You still want to be with hime but it is not your dominate thought.
