i have a zillion grasshoppers, crickets, spiders, and centipedes. which really gross me out. if i lay moth balls around my garden will it help get rid of them. or should i be better off getting seven spray? i know the risks its just that i have a big yard and little gardens every where.

If you are phobic about insects you will be spraying poisons around your house for the rest of your life.

The moth balls won't keep them out. Sevin will work. Or one of my friends was telling me that you can also just sprinkle ashes on your plants and it will do the same. The inactive ingredient in Sevin dust (which makes up like 90% of the powder) is pretty much just the same as ashes, so I guess it could work. I'm going to try it this summer and see.

Mothballs are not the best choice for keeping bugs out of the garden, bugs will keep coming and the mothballs may even damage the plants

I use sevin dust. I also plant marigolds all through my garden to help keep bugs out
