An honest question would be anything that the asker wants to know that is sincere and not just trying to get things stirred up or ridicule or poke fun of something (which for the most part is what goes on here). The sincere questions are few and far between.

Any questions anyone wants to ask in a sincere way is a honest question, but many ask a question to try to trick many peoples minds, Thinking they can get a young Christian to answer, Friend any question is honest if it is sincere, But if they ask it to make a mockery of something, then it is not honest. And some very young Christian will try his best to answer, but since he or she is young in the Lord they can give you an incorrect answer, But Myself, You are dealing with a person that has been serving God for over 37 yrs. Do I know everything, no not yet, But neither am I stupid & unwise as you would hope I may be, I am not a novice in the scriptures nor serving God.

LOL I can honestly claim as fact that I, a Christian, give personally honest and original answers here in R&S...mistakes and all, LOL
That many of my answers coincide with other answers for the same question only means that all of us have found our Faith and the Bible to be True within our own personal studies and walks and are NOT "pat answers" to certain questions we have listed on some "helpful guide to the Christian" or something like that, LOL,

I suppose that a "dishonest" question is one where the guy picks as "best answer" someone who simply says "yea, your right" over a bunch of people who typed a lot and did good research, but disagreed with the asker, so they were ignored.

I have an honest question for you. Did you mean to misspell "Christian" in your name?
I think an honest question is one you are really seeking the answer to, and not just posing as a rhetorical question, to zing someone.

What if that stock answer is the truth?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's a good question:
Q: Why is there evil/suffering in the world?
Standard Christian A: "Free will"
The true answer (and one that's very hard to accept for most) according to my studies of the Bible and theology is that God causes/allows/allows Satan to cause it as a part of His eternal predestined plan, because God is sovereign He could stop it dead in it's tracks if it wasn't in His will, couldn't He? He uses it (evil/suffering) to work out His ultimate purpose of good. Kinda like in the stories of Job and Joseph. Especially Job. In that story Satan is the direct cause of evil and suffering, but God is behind it all, allowing it because He intends to use it for good. No evil happens without God allowing it to happen. Even Satan accidentally winds up carrying out God's will! In summary, evil is a part of God's will and plan.
Isaiah 45:7: "I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil; I, the LORD, do all these things."

You "honestly" think that all the "can god make a rock so big he can't move it?" stuff is not a question with a rehearsed answer? Get over yourself, you two groups are so similar with your petty and ridiculous arguments--------keep it up, both Christians and Antagonists, you are both entertaining.
