I have been married for 1 1/2 years to my wife. She is currently pregnant the baby is due in July and she has a daughter from a previous marriage that is 7. For about 1 year now i have been dealing with my wife's verbal abuse toward me and my family. She thinks we are all alcoholics cause we enjoy drinking on occasion. My wife calls my mother and father drunks and iresponsible along with me. SHe yells at the top of her lungs in front of her daughter and cusses like a salior, down grading me and my family. Last night i came home from work and got me a glass of wine. 5 minutes later she starts her yelling and slaps me good and hard across the face. Now all this happens in front of her daughter.
This is not the first time this has happened. Only 5 days ago she pulled the same thing in the car.
What do i do... i dont want to be around her and i am tired of walking on egg shells worried when she is going to go off.
Now i know this is not a good enviroment for her daughter.

I keep getting e-mails that tell me “The wisdom of god is foolishness to those who are perishing (un-believers, etc).”

Like the movie Starship Troopers, people do not get the right to vote unless they serve the government in some fashion for a period of 2 years. I think this may be a good idea. You cannot vote unless you serve in teh military, the police, city or natiional government, or a non-profit agency that gives to the people for 2 years. What do you think? Do you think that it will make for a better nation?

My hole face like my jaw, my skull and head etc feels so tense and my mind is so anxious, i have been like this for 3 mnths now, doctors look at me like im crazy, i can hardley sleep because i feel so wired? like im on drugs?

My husband and I have been married for 6 years. My husbands son from his first marriage visits us every other weekend and for longer periods during vacations. I have two children and all of the children are close in age.
The problem? My children are very well behaved. (They are kids...dont get me wrong. They are not perfect. But My kids are 14 and 8, and I have yet to have a note home from school about their behavior and am asked often what I did to get such good children.) My stepson is the opposite. He lies, refuses to follow simple family rules and is constantly a problem. Its not just with us...his mother is at a loss and does not know how to handle him.
I just dont know what to do anymore. I am beginning to resent the time that he is here, because I know all of my time will be spent dealing with him and not enjoying the time we have with all of the kids.
Any helpful advice is welcome. Before you ask...we spend loads of quality time with the kids. He isnt after attention.

It seems that lateley, that when someone resigns from their job, that employers are just walking the employee out right away.
They pay you for time worked, but thats it. No matter if you give 2 weeks or not.
So if this is you, be prepared not to have any monies till you start working at your next job.
