Its a sad but true fact that most terrorists in the world at the moment are male, of Asian origin in their late teens to 40ish. That is the danger group. Its not racism, its hard fact. To combat trouble you target the group of people who is giving you trouble. Whats the point of stopping and questioning a 70 year old white haired granny with a carrier bag in the name of equality? It shouldnt be about equality. If innocent young asians are feeling victimised then they should help root out the scumbags and put an end to terrorism. Which in turn would put an end to racial profiling.

It is all an error because there is no such thing as "war on terror". Yes, we are fighting a war in Iraq and in Afghanistan, but these wars have nothing to do with terror but a mind f*ck. Lets get that clear. So no profiling anyone unless they are abroad already and no stop and search either because it is all one big CON. Bring the troops back and the "war on terror" will be over. So that is simpler than all these idiot rules and limitations of civil liberties, period!

the war has never been on the races in my mind it is a money thing ..if you are poor you are a target...
i have a friend that came here from saudi arabia as a student
he was held in a jail in new york for 3 months for questioning
they found out he was clean after 3 months of his life behind bars and told him to take a hike... i told him he should have gotten a lawyer but what good would that have done except open him up to more scrutiny.. they do whatever they want
when they want to who they want and guess what
they being government officials abusing their authority
there is nothing we can do about it because we are afraid to lose our lives for what we beleive in ......
those kids they have in iraq ..which for your information dont know more than probably 5 phrases of arabic... are pawns in this war...its not a war on terror it is a war of terror
how can they try to police a country you dont know the language....then we say these mexicans need to learn english ....yeah okay

a very unfortunate but necessary tactic to be used to have any realistic prevention of future attacks. if 99% of terrorist attacks are done by people of arabic descent, then logically one would pay closer attention to that demographic than others
i hate the term "war on terror" because it is vague and can incorporate any number of things including rights and people who don't fit the image of the current administration

profiling makes sense, but not just racial other factors can be used as well and random and occasional 100% also have to be part of the equation.

I'm cool with it. Let's say for example that there is a problem with white women robbing a bunch of stores. Would it make any sense whatsoever to look at black women? We all have limited resources whether it be time or money or both and we have to make the best of both, so you do what you have to do.

Its great.
I feel its about time to ask the questions we want to know.
If it looks like a bomb, smells like a bomd and ticks like a bomb.
Its a f...g bomb.
I would'nt start looking for terrorists at the derby and joan club would you.
But the local muslim group or nazi party.
I think i might start there.

Profiling of any type is ineminently wrong. Period. Strange thing, though: people who claim they are scientists claim there is only one race (human), so no doubt they are talking cultural. And, since I can trace my ancestry back throughout all of Europe to Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Egypt, Morocco, Sothern Africa and parts of Asia, I am certain that most people can. My point? They are stereotyping (profiling) themselves.

I have no problems with that!
I'm of Irish decent, and when the IRA were bombing the crap out of London I was stopped and questioned on a regular basis, no problems at all.
