He had an affair and ended our relationship over 2 years ago. We shared the house for a year because neither of us could afford to move out. I finally was able to move out on my own. Even though my name is still on the house, I have been banished for the entire last year. Now that our divorce is finalized (finally!), he has been ordered to sell the house. He has done nothing to get it ready to sell and keeps telling me that I have to come clean it because it wasn't spotless when I moved out. I sincerely do not feel this is fair. He is refusing to pay to have it cleaned and refusing to participate in getting it ready. What should I do?

Been seeing my g/f for a few months now and everything seems to be goin great. The only thing is that we've never spoken bout her past. I know she had a b/f for about a year before she met me but don't know what happened between them to cause them to split. For some reason it annoys me that I dont know this. I suppose it's because i dont know how she felt for him or if she is still friends with him. Should I be feeling like this?

Yesterday I was looking at websites of gory pictures of corpses, of people who died in various ways. While I was searching I came across a story of an 18 year old girl called Nicole Catouras who died in a horrific car crash in October 2006. She had taken her dads porshe carrera convertible without permission (apparently drunk at the time) she was passing a Honda at speeds in excess of 100mph, she clipped the Honda, lost control, went over the central reservation, the car rolled and crashed against a concrete toll booth, coming to rest against the booth upside down. The leaked explicit photos of the aftermath were known to be circulated on the net, and her parents are fighting to get them off the net. The photo's were described as extremely gruesome, and I knew that, but my curiousity got the better of me so I set about searching for them. I found them and the photo's showed her body still sitting in the car...She had no face, her head was destroyed beyond recognition-

i met my b/f in the internet , we finally met after about 6 years. the thing is he always claimed to want a true love, and i figured he would be a rue love also..when i went to see him and while in his name on the internet some girl came out saying he was suppose to meet him, and said he would not be on line so not to IM him cause it would not be him on line ..it would be family (since it was over the holidays) everyone that IM ed him did not know about me at all...then i found some private chat that was saved on his computer (while arranging his pictures for him, which he asked me to do) and i found him ofering to another girl what he has offered me .. to relocate and help her get settled ..now he says its me and i am acting childish, and that internet is not reality...(how can that be?) we met on the internet...does this make sense to you? is it me or am i right about not trusting him anymore

I asked a family member who recently graduated from law school to review and negotiate a contract for me. She did so. She has not taken the bar exam in her state nor in my state, I signed this contract thinking she was already an attorney simply because she graduated from law school, but now I find out she's not fully an attorney yet.

The law regarding this type of contract states that a attorney is to review it on my behalf, and now the other parties to this contract are refusing to invalidate the contract.

Is she allowed to give me legal advice and help negotiate a contract for me although she may not fully be a lawyer and is that contract valid, now that it has been signed, etc. Or is it no longer enforceable.

Once in a while on my 1987 Suburban, one of the rear drums sticks when I release the parking brake. If I stop the vehicle and press the parking brake down, then release it again, the brake almost always comes free. But it is annoying and the vehicle shakes/vibrates when the brake is stuck, which can't be good. I would think there is some kind of spray that wouldnt harm the brake parts...or could the problem lie in the parking brake cable itself?? Maybe that needs to be sprayed/adjusted... Your answers, as always, are greatly appreciated..

AND ON WEEKENDS THE 12YR OLD BABYSITS HER SISTER AND COUSINS WHILE THEY GO OUT FOR THE EVENING. I THOUGHT IN SOME STATES AT THE AGE OF 12 THE CHILD COULD CHOOSE WHICH PARENT THEY WANT TO LIVE WITH. WE ARE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. I HOPE SOMEONE CAN LEAD US IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

Okay, I am just curious…I have heard a couple of people say today that the reason Christians believe what they believe is because they had it drilled into their heads since birth. I am a Christian and it was NEVER drilled into my head as a child, on the contrary, I was told I could believe whatever I wanted to up until my mother married her third husband. He tried to force me to go to Catholic church and I rebelled. However, despite the rebellion I still found Christ…so I just want to know…how many Christians became Christians of their own accord and how many had it “drilled into their heads” since birth?

There is a room in my (grandma's) house that hasn't been lived in in about 30 years. It had become the "junk room" of her house, completely filled with old mail and old clothes and old baby toys. I've been working on clearing it out the past few weeks on garbage days and I've just about got it all done. The walls are disgusting as is the carpet, and we need to fix it all up for somebody to live in. So I have a few questions!

1) Would you recommend painting the walls or putting new carpet in first?

2) There's scum on the walls, and water marks streaking down from rain getting in through the window. Saying this, do you think I would be able to handle fixing up and painting the walls myself or should I hire someone?

3) About how much would it cost to hire someone for the painting job?

4) One of the walls has wood paneling with groove lines down each panel, and the other 3 are just flat white walls... how can I make the wood panels flat to match the other walls?

Thanks!
