A 2002 Camaro Z28 with an 5.7 liter LSI 305 HP engine?

I'm looking to get an 8-cylinder sports car, but I hope that it's gas mileage is not a bad 18 MPG for the highway. I hope it's at least 25 MPG for the highway or so.

You could get even higher than 30 mpg in that car. At least on a cross country trip with cruise control on.

I got 29 mpg in my 95 Camaro Z28, which has a similar V8 engine that gets worse miles per gallon.

Really depends how you drive it though, how many hills you have, type of tires, general tune up condition and about 99999999999999999999 different things.

Depends on which transmission it has. If it has a 6 speed manual it should do that easily on the highway. I have heard as high as 28mpg with that tranny, but you would have to keep your foot out of it. The 6 speed has 2 overdrives and drops the RPMs at higherspeeds. THe automatic might get close to that, but the only data I have heard has been the 6 speed. Also if you keep your revs down inbetween shifts, the car will do even better.

It should get close to 25 mpg on highway in stock form.

I bet around 16 on the highway if that. Maybe 12 in the city. Thats if you push it up hills.

Depends on how much you drop your foot on the accelerator. If you have a lead foot your gas milage will be about 15/ 18, but I doubt your will ever see 25 with that V8.

Good luck!
