A young blonde was on vacation in the depths of Louisiana. She wanted a pair of genuine alligator shoes in the worst way, but was very reluctant to pay the high prices the local vendors were asking.

After becoming very frustrated with the "no haggle" attitude of one of the shopkeepers, the blonde shouted, "Maybe I'll just go out and catch my own alligator so I can get a pair of shoes at a reasonable price!" The shopkeeper said, "By all means, be my guest. Maybe you'll luck out and catch yourself a big one!" Determined, the blonde turned and headed for the swamps, set on catching herself an alligator.

Later in the day, the shopkeeper is driving home, when he spots the young woman standing waist deep in the water, shotgun in hand. Just then, he sees a huge 9 foot alligator swimming quickly toward her. She takes aim, kills the creature and with a great deal of effort hauls it on to the swamp bank. Lying nearby were several more of the dead creatures. The shopkeeper watches in amazement. Just then the blonde flips the alligator on its back, and frustrated, shouts out, "Damn it, this one isn't wearing any shoes either!"

I know that the convertible car seats go up to 40 lbs for a child, so I guess what I am asking is... How old are children when they hit about 40 lbs? I want to know if it is worth buying a more expensive car seat that looks alot more comfortable if they will be in it longer than a year.

Abstract: This meta-analysis finds that parents report lower marital satisfaction compared to nonparents (d = -.19, r = -.10). There is also a significant negative correlation between marital satisfaction and number of children (d = -.13, r = -.06). The difference in marital satisfaction is most pronounced among mothers of infants (38% of mothers of infants have high marital satisfaction, compared to 62% of childless women). For men, the effect remains similar across ages of children. The effect of parenthood on marital satisfaction is more negative among high socioeconomic groups, younger birth cohorts, and in more recent years. The data suggest that marital satisfaction decreases after the birth of a child due to role conflicts and restriction of freedom.

They really are - it doesn't take much. I don't want to hear all you perfect people bragging about how wonderful your life is; you know MOST married men are miserable. My girlfriends all know exactly what they have to do to keep their men happy (mosty sex stuff) but its almost like they have fun saying "no" and making fun of them.

I have a boxer, just under 7 mos old. He LOVES the dog park, and he loves to play. The problem is, the other dogs (with the exception of the other boxers) don't appreciate his playing style. He wants to be chased, he jumps around in front of them, and sometimes he nips a little around the other dogs mouths. He also uses those boxer paws from time to time and bats at the other dogs. To him, its all in good fun.

Last night, his fun came back to bite him...literally. A great dane just got annoyed, pinned him down and was biting him. He was crying, mouth was bleeding, etc. He's totally fine, thankfully.

How can i work with him to make sure he's not so annoying to the other dogs?

If not, does anyone know of any Boxer specific parks or play groups in the Phoenix area?

the thing is,i fell out of love with my b/f,at least i felt like if i did .and we were seperated for over a year.in that year of seperation,i met a new friend and after a while i say 6 months of hanging out a or anyt/nnd being nothing but friends.we fell for each other but the problem is he has a g/f. so i ignored the feeling.my b/f and i are back together and will be married in oct.but i stills/ed feel for him,but what im so confused about is that i feel for my b/f too.the other day we were talking as we usually do,and we looked at each others eyes and he apologized for it.we have agree to go on with our lives and be just friends.but we cant be together and not stare at each other.we have never kiss or anything.he said he would love to be part of my wedding,but i dont think i can handle it.he said it hurt him to loose a friend like me to another man.but im just confused,i dont know what to do.any advice would help right now.

Okay im way too skinny and please dont tell me im not because i know i am and i play contact sports so i need to beef up..im 17 and 6ft and 1-2inches..and i weigh 140..ive been trying to gain weight but ive actually lost like 10pounds in the 1-2months..whats going on?? i try to eat whenever i get the chance but its hard sometimes with school and after school stuff..whats the best stuff for me to eat or buy or whatever i just really need help..main problem is my family is kinda big so theres so much 'lean' fat free food all over the house and we dont even have that much food anyway..im in the process of making eggs right now then im going work out because i heard thats good but i need some more ideas!!

In christianity you must believe the son of god Jesus died for your sins. That would mean all Jews are not going to heaven because they believe he was a messiah not the son of God. So does that mean Jesus who was a Jew did not save any of his people. Very big contradiction. Someone please explain this to me.
