It is revealed that the Oil-For-Food programme in Iraq loses $21 billion, funneling illicit funds into the hands of despot Saddam Hussein. Outraged people who call for Annan's resignation are promptly dismissed by the indignant Left as "swift boaters" and "witch hunters" out to get poor Kofi.
2007- World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz uses his influence to get his girlfriend, bank employee Shaha Riza, a promotion to a plumb job, with a raise amounting to $60,000 (chump change for an institution that takes in $12 billion a year). The outraged Left demands Wolfowitz's resignation, because he is a "corrupt neocon Zionist"
