If the circuit is not tripped to the off position look under the sink you may have a GFI plug the for the garbage disposal and Dishwash if you do push the reset button. Good Luck

2 steps:
Check the fuse circuit first.
1> Find the circuit box ( Find it in the basement , garage or laundry room if you live in a house. Corridor or laundry room if you live in an apartment. )
2>If a fuse blew, you will just have to turn it back on. Usually they are marked( "kitchen, room, so on) If not marked , turn the key that is in the OFF position to the ON position)
TIP: You can always turn all of them off and back on . If important electronics such as computer are off, no harm done.
It should work. You should be able to hear the washing machine starting to run again immediately after you place it the key in the ON position. If not , you'll need an electrician to fix the cables that feed electricity to your garbage disposal and dishwasher.

This is likely the circuit breaker, as both are probably on the kitchen circuit.
There's a grey circuit breaker box - probably in the basement or garage. Check all of the switches - the one that's popped (showing red and a little toward the center) is the culprit. Switch it off, then back on again to reset it.

You need to check the main circuit breaker first because it could be a fuse problem. The actual dishwasher may be plugged in under the sink. Mine is.

You must find out if the same electric line feeds both appliances. If it does, then the problem is most probably on the electric service "fuse, wires, switch." Check for juice at the switch "no juice, electric problem." Have juice, remove wires at the dishwasher and check for juice "no juice, electrical," Juice OK, jump out motor, if it runs then electrical,
if it don't motor no good. But I think because 2 appliances are out, then the problem is most probably electrical.
