Definitely against God's creation. People may feel trapped in the body of the wrong gender, but the problem is you can't change your gender. Your chromosomes don't lie, and even if you have cosmetic surgery to make yourself look different, all you are really doing is mutilating yourself. That might sound harsh, but the truth is you can't change your sex. There are lots of people who are unhappy with lots of things, but there are a thousand different ways to take care of it without drastically changing yourself. I think that the biggest problem in society today is that people think that we can just toss a quick fix at any problem that comes our way (transgenderism, abortion, divorce, school drop-outs, etc). People have to learn to fight and work through problems. I'm not perfect, and I have to work through things myself, but I definitely believe that a transgender operation is not the answer to someone's unhappiness.

Um - well, hon, a good many of them are hermaphrodites...given, by nature or by God, the attributes of something in between man and woman. Gross? Since when is God's creation "gross"??? Therapy? What would you suggest? My best friend as a child had the chest of a woman and the bottom part of a man. He had a sibling who had a full set of both gender's genitals and could either father a child or get pregnant - both sets of organs worked just fine.
In other words - there aren't just two sexes amongst human beings, but FIVE! What to you have to say to that?

Scientifically they are human beings born in the body that doesn't match the gender in their minds. Kindly do research to that effect, even read books from their perspectives in order to attain some wisdom and compassion about the subject. Of course therapy is an option, ONLY to keep them from depression and going crazy because of people's lack of compassion and obvious hatred, while transitioning, if they choose to do so. With so much hatred, misunderstanding and bigotry out there, they're easy targets and it's a sad shame.
Cultivate compassion, wisdom and altruism.

Any one who would condemn a kid because of they way they feel in thier heads and bodies is one sick son of a *****.
My view is it happens. Its happened since the dawn of time I am sure, only modern times can do something about it.
NOTHING is against the Gods creation. There is beauty in EVERY life. Its not our place to judge something like that.
In some cases yes if you aren't happy you should change your whole being. Its about being happy and at peace with yourself. If that means a whole make over that's fine. I don't see anyone calling women with breast implants going against God. Of course therapy in an option. A good portion of the world could do with a little of it. Then perhaps they wouldn't be so hateful angry and judgemental.

I think it *IS* God's creation. No, not gross. Think of yourself as a woman (I assume since you are "Mimi") having all the thoughts and feelings of a woman, yet you possess a male body. Would YOU be happy? Could you pretend to be a male, or would you long for the female body to go with your brain?
Therapy would not change your outlook from female to male.

Transsexuality is a real condition where people have experienced gender identity issues since they were children. I do not see it as gross, I pity those whom have had to live under the wrong gender and then have to face persecution after they change. Therapy is not an option, these people will not change because it is just a faze.. People that can not deal with other people's life choices need therapy.. **** I am so disgusted with closed minded *** holes that can not ******* deal with other people's life style.

Really none of my business. I'm sure it is very difficult to feel you are born in the wrong body. If modern medicine can help them be at peace with themselves it's OK with me.

If the person still insists that they are the opposite sex when they are adults, then it is their business. Children shouldn't be allowed to decide things like that. No therapy, unless it is to just discover their true feelings.

Before transexual surgery, the individual is counseled. They have to pass a battery of counseling beofre they proceed with the change. I think it's not of God at all and I'll never budge. We are not to defile ourselves and a complete gender change with unecessary hacking and chopping is complete defilement of our body, which is the temple for the Holy Spirit. My personal beleif is that these poor souls need volumes of prayer because they are under the spirit of confusion as led by the Devil himself. The Devil is jealous, hates us and what better way to get even than to confuse some poor soul into thinking what they are is wrong? I have heard of these surgeries backfiring painfully and there you go, the Devil has twice the laughs. By the time it's over, the person is trashed physically, emotionally and spiritually. I think it's sad and these doctors shouldn't be doing it for a living. Shame, shame on them.

Yes it's against God's creation.
Yes it's gross
If you aren't happy, get over it.
Therapy is not an option - getting over it is.
