I have had problems getting a job. I have a misdimenorr on my record. It prevents me for getting a job. I paid the fines, did community service and served my time. Should potential jobs be able to know this and deny me a job? I paid my dues and am a productive member of society?

I'm starting a web site that will include research & commentary on a particular industry, as well as a forum and links to news items of interest. Right now I have a $6.95 hosting plan that includes 350GB storage and 3500 GB/month bandwidth. I have no idea how much traffic this site will get and whether my current plan will be adequate. If I have Google ads on the site, will I always be able to cover my hosting expenses? Are there web hosts that allow you to scale up to a higher plan or a dedicated server, rather than charging for excess traffic? Out of curiosity, how much do you think ultra-popular sites like drudgereport.com or perezhilton.com spend on hosting?

I only have USB 1.1 on my laptop (so I cannot connect any more internal hardwawre). Is there anyway that I can get some sort of external hardware that allows me to use USB 2.0? Im guessing not, but I do not know everything! Hence the question.

I am so damn tired of this " Hey, lets get another wide receiver " crap. No matter who your receivers are, if your quarterback cannot get the ball to them, be it because A) they suck or B) the o-line cannot protect worth a damn (both of which are Detroit's problems), they will continue to be ineffective. Drew Stanton had better be ready to take a beating, because with the other two polished turds the Lions have at QB, it won't be long before he sees some snaps. I remember the first time I saw the Jackson 5 on Andy Williams, I couldn't enjoy it because it was these five guys dancing, and two of them were kids, and it just blew a fuse in my head. Next, I saw a picture of Isaac Hayes, and I thought, thats not right. He's bald, and he's wearing sunglasses. Then I saw Sly at Woodstock, and I thought, these guys are about ten years ahead of anybody else in this show.
I finally came to the conclision that black musicians lead the way, as far as popular music is concerned, They always have and they probably alwways will.
BTW, Jimi was my bridge into black music, Thank God.

Did anyone have the really big Barbie boat / cruise ship in the early 90's? I can't remember the exact title of it, but it was about two feet long and had a swimming pool, and I think the chimney was a cup or something. It would have been about 1992-1993 when it was brought out. I still have mine in the attic somewhere but I can't find it on the internet and I'm just interested to know if it would be of any value today, especially with it being so hard to find on the web. Any info is appreciated! x
