That's such a subjective term. Have you ever thought that to them, you're the alien.
Anyway, they'd have the ability to surgically alter their appearance so that they'd blend in with the locals and then they'd take time learning about the culture they were going to immerse themselves in, you'd never know you were talking to one.
Your best friend might even be one because aliens could have settled on Earth as long ago as a couple of hundred years. (I should think). They could be arriving at this minute.
There might be small clues, no-one's perfect and they'd slip up from time to time but that's not their fault, it's hard remembering everything you've been taught, especially when you've been here so long you're forgetting what home looks like.

Well, amazingly enough, they seem to look rather like the way aliens are depicted in Science fiction!
Seriously, Joe Nickle of CSICOP has done a lot of research on this, and has drawn up a chart of how the appearance of aliens as described by 'contactees' has evolved over the years, and it does seem to keep pace with illustrations in comics and movies!

Some have to hide as humans like me, but the most popular ones are the Greys!!! They're abou 5ft, grey skin , big head ,big black eyes no nose , only nostrils, and a very tiny mouth since they don't use it anymore. They communicate telepatically, and they are the ones who install metal implants in your body while you sleep...Ok, dat's enough!
