YOU PUT THE DEVIL OUT, BUT DID YOU LET HIM LEAVE HIS BAGS?
This is powerful!

You got out of a bad relationship because it was bad,
but you are still resentful and angry
(you let the devil leave his bags)

You got out of financial debt, but you still can't
control the desire to spend on frivolous things
(you let the devil leave his bags)

You got out of a bad habit or addiction, but you still long to try it just one more time
(you let the devil leave his bags)

You said, I forgive you, but you can't seem to forget and have peace with that person
(you let the devil leave his bags)

You told your unequally yoked mate that it was over,
but you still continue to call
(you let the devil leave his bags)

You got out of that horribly oppressive job, but you are still
trying to sabotage the company after you've left
(you let the devil leave his bags)

You cut off the affair with that married man/woman, but you
still lust after him/her
(you let the devil leave his bags)

You broke off your relationship with that hurtful, abusive person, but you are suspicious and distrusting of every new person you meet (you let the devil leave his bags)

You decided to let go of the past hurts from growing up in an
unstable environment, yet you believe you are unworthy of love from others and you refuse to get attached to anyone
(you let the devil leave his bags)

When you put the devil out, please make sure he takes his bags!

HAPPINESS KEEPS YOU SWEET
TRIALS KEEP YOU STRONG
AND SORROWS KEEP YOU HUMAN
FAILURES KEEP YOU HUMBLE
SUCCESS KEEPS YOU GLOWING
BUT ONLY GOD KEEPS YOU GOING!

very nice.

Comprehension of being able to let go completely is another thing. Devil knows your path and also reminds you. I struggle with repeatedly throwing out the bags but they seem to find an open window or back door sometimes. I continues to toss them back out and have made a point not to give it any more power in my life.

Joyce Meyer says is best. New Level New Devil.
He also sees what God is building us up to be and works to incapacitate us from affecting others.

Thank you for the encouragement.

This is a nice thought, but I don't think that Satan can be bothering everyone at once. The fact that we are still angry or or resentful comes from our inherited sinful nature. That's the thing we need to give to God. We can't blame the devil for everything. :)

Cool I like it too. We have to resist the devil, resist temptation and not let satan get a foothold in our lives. God says he will not allow us to go through more than we can handle and to flee from the appearance of evil. He is there with us and can help us with all of those things, we just have to make sure we kick the devil and his bags out the door!!!!

on account that an especially long term in the past, human beings have sought for the meaning of love. yet even the super philosophers, with their profound definitions, could desire to no longer completely touch its real essence. In a survey of four-8 year olds, childrens share their perspectives on love.

Yes, i agree.
Most of the time, without realize that they still couldn't get over the unhappy past, people tends to think that they had overcome it. This is actually deceiving your own self & when you couldn't let go of the past, you are actually not moving forward!
By the way, I'm not a Christian...

Nice poem but, in reality it is not as easy as all that. This is what Purgatory does. It gets his bags too!. The Lord loves you and knows when you are trying so if you die trying then he takes a little bit of time to help.

What's your point of all this crap?
If you want to break free from the devil, just...do it, get rid of all his crap you were using.
Don't turn back.
Peace.....
