I heard It's supposed to be paper what can I get my Wife?

A male pastor walked into a neighborhood pub to use the restroom. The place was hopping with music and dancing, until people saw the pastor. As the room quieted down he walked up to the bartender, and asked, "May I please use the restroom?"

The bartender replied, "I really don't think you should."

"Why not?" the pastor asked. "I really need to use a restroom!"

"Well, I don't think you should. There is a statue of a naked woman in there -- and she's only covered by a fig leaf!"

"Nonsense," said the pastor, "I'll look the other way!"

So, the bartender showed the clergyman the door at the top of the stairs, and he proceeded to the restroom.

After a few minutes, he came back out, and the whole place was hopping with music and dancing again! He went to the bartender and said, "Sir, I don't understand. When I came in here, the place was hopping with music and dancing. Then the room became absolutely quiet. I went to the restroom, and now the place is hopping again."

"Well, now you're one of us!" said the bartender. "Would you like a drink too?"

"But, I still don't understand," said the puzzled pastor.

"You see," laughed the bartender, "every time the fig leaf is lifted on the statue, the lights go out in the whole place. Now, how about a drink?"

I am a person who can act very irrational when my emotions get in the way. It makes me look incredibly stupid and senseless. Sometimes I just talk when I shouldn't and have many regrets. I love music, the arts, and anything else that is creative. Anything that will send a chill down my back. Is this me or can I change myself? I want to be more rational. Maybe it's my age. How should I 19 year old girl act? What is expected of me?

Today christians are percieved as obsessively religious people who try and shove their beliefs down other peoples throats and condemn anything and everything that doesnt have GOD written all over it.

I do not feel that the people who fit the description are TRUE christians!!!! I dont know where these people came from but it angers me that all christians are being lumped into one big group of psycopaths.

1. A true christian does not scream and condemn others who say they are athiests... they pray for them, invite them to church, and do not force them to do anything they dont want to do.

2. A true Christian doesnt judge others. "Judge not lest ye be judged." Or something like that. They try to HELP people with their problems and try to find answers. Whether it be through god or other means. Just because you have made bad choices in life doesnt mean you cant turn back! True Christians help others, not condemn them.

how would a doctor find out?


i have a REALLY bad sore throat. and it wont go away.
but i also have a horrible headache. i cant decide which is worse.

what can i do now. till i go to the doc?

To elaborate, to buy it in Canada and use and keep it in the U.S. like any other car. What process would I have to go through and approximately how much would it cost? I know the km/hour gauges would have to go, but is there anything else?

I just read in Electro-Generator Weekly that a British company is experimenting with a new form of renewable energy. What they have is huge circular tanks – like donuts – containing thousands of electric eels. The eels can only swim in one direction. Around the tanks are massive coils of copper wire. The EMF from the eels induces current to flow and thus generates power. One tank can generator enough for 5000 households.
I know we need to have renewable energy but don’t you think this is a cruel to the eels?

Where should we go? What should we do? We are planning on cashing in on some Marriott reward points so any recommendations for those resorts?

Hubby is the tourist who has a hard time sitting still, I am the vacationer who just wants to lay out on the beach and sip something with an umbrella in it and there will be NO KIDS on this trip! Who hoo! Which island is a good combination of this?

We are leaning towards Oahu since we would love to go to the Arizona Memorial. What else should we do or should we consider another island?

We are also thinking about Sept/October timeframe. Is this a good time of year???

So here's the deal...i have a 12 yr old lab that had surgery monday night to remove a corn on the cob that got stuck in her intestine...She's been at the vet since. We expected to take her home tonight but the vet says it may be a good idea to keep her there longer because she's not eating yet. When me and my mom went to visit her last night, she ate some chicken and rice they said to bring her. She's been on IV to rehydrate her and she's been having diarhhea, which they said is good. She's on heavy pain medication and when we went to visit her last night she was really doped out and out of it. They said she is in good physical condition for her age, and that she looks great.
It costs a lot of money to keep her there everyday...hundreds. And I'm wondering if the vet is just trying to get more money out of us...Maybe if we brought her home today she would feel more at home and begin to eat? I want your opinion please. What do you think i should do?

Religion has since the beginning of it's creation, created smoke and mirrors to fool the masses into thinking and believing that their is an all powerful, all knowing and all perfect being. Yet any sane mind would know there are many fallible errors on this assumption. #1 Being that if a being created the universe he cannot be all powerful and all perfect. Because in the sense, if you have no perfection you have no limit to the power you command, but if you are perfect there is limit to what you can do and you are not all powerful. Furthurmore it is said that god knows what we will do but we have free will. This in and of itself should prove that the religious god of all religions claiming this is simply a lie taken from pagan beliefs and twisted around. Of course that is the area of all religions dating back to the first unknown religion. But my question is simply this, if all the evidence is right in people's face, why can't they see it and why do they refuse to believe in the facts?

ok here it is.. first time me and my girlfriend had sex it was unprotected but i did not ***. it has been a few months now and she has had some very irregular periods.. she didnt skip her first 1 which was at the end of the month but the next month it was at, near the start.. but now she was on her period for 3 days and she was not heavy which is unusual because she is always heavy at first but the period stopped and 2 days later it has started agen. im a big worrier and think she could be pregnant.. she has abit of a belly now but she has been abit stressed and eating more.. her breasts have gone bigger.. is there ways i could find out if she was pregnant without doing a test because she is enemic (if thats how you spell it) and ive been told it could just show up positive anyway.. help please thanks.
