Religion has since the beginning of it's creation, created smoke and mirrors to fool the masses into thinking and believing that their is an all powerful, all knowing and all perfect being. Yet any sane mind would know there are many fallible errors on this assumption. #1 Being that if a being created the universe he cannot be all powerful and all perfect. Because in the sense, if you have no perfection you have no limit to the power you command, but if you are perfect there is limit to what you can do and you are not all powerful. Furthurmore it is said that god knows what we will do but we have free will. This in and of itself should prove that the religious god of all religions claiming this is simply a lie taken from pagan beliefs and twisted around. Of course that is the area of all religions dating back to the first unknown religion. But my question is simply this, if all the evidence is right in people's face, why can't they see it and why do they refuse to believe in the facts?

Maybe we just need to believe in something higher than ourselves.
Besides, as I am not self creating, nor do I recall creating the Universe, all thats in it and then some...Hmm, I may have to look for a superior Intelligence, which I Choose to call God.
As well, hey...we are just human.
I want to believe in a supreme ruler who actually has, a master plan, and has all things under control...
I want to believe that in the end, evil will be wiped out, that in Heaven for eternity there will be no more tears, hunger, greed, etc, etc.
Why not. I mean, even if it is just a pipe dream, even if God is not, well atleast I had a beautiful dream, of a Paradise, which no man could ever even imagine its beauty, and I know people can imagine some great things.
So if when I die, my body is put in the ground, or burned, and I see nothing else, which I do not belive that crap at all.
Thats the big lie to me, that when we die, thats it.
Bull-Sh*t!!!
Energy keeps on going on, my Spirit is not of this world, and i know it will continue, no matter what. And I believe I am a part of the Great Creator, I call God.
So, I suppose, if you do not want to believe, if you have all the proof right in front of you...then why worry.
Hell, what do you care about us, you got it all figured out, maybe we are all a bunch of morons, no I did not say Mormons, they are just Idiots...Ooh sorry, i didn't mean that either.
Whole dam* bunch of them are following Satan right into the fiery pits of hell, and they say they are Christians...
Who do they...
Sorry.
Sometimes I do not know when to shut up.
Yeah, I believe in God, Heaven, hell the whole bit.
But then, you know, I may be wrong.
I'm just a dumb human, why not allow the robots to take control, so they can blow the whole world to hell, since, we are the threat...
Hmm, too many movies I suppose.
This place, this world, pretty much sucks...I believe in hell cause I am pretty dam* sure that thats where most of this world is headed...straight to the fiery pits of Hell!
may God Bless us all.

Knowing how someone will react to differing conditions takes away their free will? That is nonsense. being perfect limits a beings power? Where did you come up with that nonsense. I don't see where perfection requires any surrender of power. The two are not tied together at all.. Other than Pagans say their Gods are the creators I see no connection there either... Jim

God is all-powerful in that He can do anything, however, He is perfect in that He doesn't exercise this power to do anything evil bc that's against His nature. So, God is all-powerful, but He is perfect.

You also mention God knowing what we'll do and having free will. God is above time, He can move forward or backward in time if He wants, so He can look into the future and see what we'll do with our free will without ever having to influence our decisions. Thus, He knows everything, yet we still have free will.

I do believe in the facts, the facts say that Jesus rose from the dead, meaning He is the son of God and that He is the only way into heaven.

When it comes to faith and spirituality each and every individual needs to seek what they believe to be truth. Most often people do not do this, they take what is handed to them and they assume that since someone else told them that it is right, they have no reason to question it.
It also has a lot to do with perceptions. How you might view the truth will often be different than another's because there will always be room for interpretation.
If people want to know the truth they will seek it. It's not up to you and me to tell other people what the truth is, they need to discover it for themselves which will in turn open their eyes to all the hypocrisies religion has created and probably prompt them to research and decide for themselves.
It's a shame that some people are okay with being puppets, I for one am no puppet, I am perfectly capable of making sense of things for myself.
Oh pooh on the people who think we don't have the freedom to chose!

People believes lies because they rejected the truth. It is written that God turned them over to a deception because they refused to come to the love of the Truth.

Think on whatsoever things are true, lovely, etc... And the Peace of God shall keep you. Not to think on false, deception because that results, or starts with fear.

Also, when one is born of God and is sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise; this is the Spirit of Truth who leads into all truth. This is my safety & who I turn to for Truth. The Holy Spirit gives me understanding, wisdom, knowledge & spiritual comparing spiritual with spiritual, etc. And so I don't believe every religious rule or accusation against others. I go to God in prayer. To me the evidence is the confirmation I receive in my spiritman that something is true or correct way to go.

In the first place, you misunderstand what omnipotence is. It is not the ability to do anything, regardless of how illogical or contradictory to God's nature it is, but the power to do anything possible. Doing evil would contradict God's good and perfect nature. And even if it weren't, it might be possible that God could do evil, but chose not to do it.
And just because God knows everything that we will do does not mean He determines what we will do.

When,or if, God decieds to let you know The Truth You will know The Truth... untill then you will remain blind... I can not prove God to you... nor can any other mortal... the proof you require can only come from God... and He dose not reveal it to all.... you are not bound by God's Law for His people.... you are free to obay or disobay, as you choose, the laws of man.... the Laws of the universe, which God put inplace, you have to follow whether you like it or not... if you want to keep breathing with your feet firmly held to the ground by gravity.

Because what is proof to you, is none sense to me. I have experienced God in my life, I have experienced the miracles and love. THere is no way, No ONe, or any Theory can make me doubt of Gods powerful existence.

I pray that you at least try to have that experience before you stick to a theory of your thoughts.

God bless you and guide you, and may the Holy Spirit touch you in an undeniable way!

It's all in perspective. Believers don't look at it that way.

Religion is an essential question. Some have one answer, other have another. We don't know the right answer; not believers or atheists, but both think they do.

Religion gives me hope, and that is enough for me.

People refuse to accept reality. They'd rather live in the delusion and mess up the world around them than accept the reality and run the risk that those terroristic Palestinians have the right 'god' and it will be mad at them for not bowing down to it.

Rational people call that a 'superstition,' religious people ponder Pascal's Wager.
