I believe that is the NOrthern Red Bellied Snake.
The snake can be colored dark brown, light tan, gray, or black. It always has a red or pink underside which gave the snake its name. They are usually seven to ten inches long. They are nonvenomous and rarely try to bite a predator or a human. The snakes are relatively small compared to other snakes, so some other snakes will eat them.

First, NO snake is "poisonous"(that's the correct spelling). A poison is something toxic that you must eat, drink, or inhale in order for it to harm you, like chlorine bleach, for example. You can eat any snake and not be harmed.
This snake sounds like it's almost certainly a Ringneck snake, which is totally harmless. Of our venomous snakes(that's the CORRECT term), only the Coral Snake has bright colors or red on it anywhere, and it's not grey at all! Most of our North American venomous snakes have dull-colored bellies.

Nope. Sounds like you either have a ringneck snake, redbelly snake or a baby brown snake. Neither of these are poisoness and they actually make good pets.

It's obvious you don't really want a correct answer, otherwise you would have provided some reasonably decent information.
Or did you just want to start a guessing game?
