For a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R600.
This bike has just over 7000 miles on it, and was bought about a week ago with a 2 year warranty on it from a reputed motorcycle dealer.
Basically, I got it home, unloaded it off my truck correctly, and went to start it and take it around for a short ride. The battery was dead. I let a dead battery slide, and figured that somewhere along the line of taking it home, something discharged the battery. I charged it myself with a battery charger, and had it running for a day. Now, it is making a lot of smoke when it runs, and refuses to go into gear. (It shifts, but just stalls going into first, with the clutch in.) Are these symptoms of a greater problem? Is there something I'm missing? I'm pretty good with motorcycles. It IS under a 2 year warranty, but if theres something I'm doing wrong now, I don't want to hitch it back up on my truck and take it to them only to have them tell me I was forgetting to do something on it.
