My GPA is currently 3.9; maintained all A's except for an 89 in Geometry (I'm never going to forget it) and a B for gym but my final average for gym is a 90 (goes to show my school is stupid). Either way my GPA is 3.9 since my school goes A,B,C,D and F; no pluses. I'm going to bring it up to 4.0 in my junior year.

....I wear leave-in contact lenses, but had something irritating in one today and took it out to rinse it. I usually use multi purpose saline solution which you can use to rinse the lenses and put them straight back in. However, I forgot that my optician gave me some new solution to try and when I rinsed my lens off and put it back in, it was excrutiatingly agonising. Upon reading the bottle, I discovered it's one of the fluids you have to leave to 'neutralise' for 6 hours, so I presume I subjected my poor eye to a hefty dose of hydrogen peroxide! I rinsed my eye for ages in running water, but it's steadily got worse during the day. It's now really swollen, bloodshot, won't stop watering and seems to have what looks like a water blister over the whole eyeball.

Has anyone else done this before, I'm just wondering if it will this settle down over time, or do I need to get it looked at?

It really hurts : ((

My purpose for asking is that I will be petitioning my wife who lives in another country. Does my name need to be consistent in all my documents? Currently, my new legal name is on my US Passport and Drivers License. Also, it is the name I use when I file my taxes.

For a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R600.

This bike has just over 7000 miles on it, and was bought about a week ago with a 2 year warranty on it from a reputed motorcycle dealer.

Basically, I got it home, unloaded it off my truck correctly, and went to start it and take it around for a short ride. The battery was dead. I let a dead battery slide, and figured that somewhere along the line of taking it home, something discharged the battery. I charged it myself with a battery charger, and had it running for a day. Now, it is making a lot of smoke when it runs, and refuses to go into gear. (It shifts, but just stalls going into first, with the clutch in.) Are these symptoms of a greater problem? Is there something I'm missing? I'm pretty good with motorcycles. It IS under a 2 year warranty, but if theres something I'm doing wrong now, I don't want to hitch it back up on my truck and take it to them only to have them tell me I was forgetting to do something on it.

Someone said about communists: "they believe in the fact that people should get what they work for, and communism gives to the lazy, as well as the hard worker". I don't understand how this could be true. Our christians seem to think the same thing here in America today to keep what they work for and lazy people should die...that doesn't sound christian to me. In fact, that communism treats people equally, why is it bad? And why is it unchristian? Alot of Christians believe in love, compassion and equality, just as Jesus believed. How does one justify his religious beliefs as 'christian' if one believes the opposite?

How can anybody in their right mind still support this war?
On what grounds?
No WMDs.
No "nukcular" program.
No involvement with 9/11.
No involvement in any other terrorism.
Half a trillion $$ wasted.
650,000 dead.
Millions maimed displaced orphaned etc.

And for what?

All for nothing.
Even if you win (which you cannot) you win nothing.

"Edit: Oh irony of ironies! That MSNBC article I quoted below has a link on it (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15750604/)... about a museum exhibit that focuses on gay animals... and in it, under a picture of two GIRAFFES, it says "Scientists say that homosexual activity among giraffes is, in many cases, more common than heterosexual activity." So *that's* why the giraffe is so damned giggly!"

One night during some heavy stop and go traffic I smelled coolant really strong. I stopped to see if my 94 YZF750R was leaking but no liquid ever hit the floor. I just assumed it was another passing vehicle. Weeks later while messing around with my battery I noticed my coolant tank was empty. I filled it with water and rode it about one mile before it was bone dry again. Still no liquid on the ground no dripping. My oil is not milky or bubbly. I filled it up one last time and now the water stays in. I am scared to ride it now becasue if it's a blown gasket or head I don't want to sieze it.

I miscarried my second baby yesterday and I had to have an emergency D&C after spending 5 hours at home bleedig through 4 pads an hour and passing baseball sized clots. It's hard to talk about. My husband is deployed and probably won't be able to come home to help me out. I have a 13 month old who I just cannot bear to be around. I have no family close by to take him. I have interest in doing anything. I've lost my appetite, thirst and desire to function and live. When I told my mother in law that my husband was trying to come back to help me she said it wouldn't be fair to the other soldiers who were waiting to come home on R&R. My husband has already had his R&R (that's when I became pregnant), but now my baby is gone. I need him here. I feel so empty inside. I just want to lay down and die and never wake up again. I feel like my body is not good enough to sustain life. I feel like it's my fault because in a fit of pregnant rage I wished I wasn't pregnant. I'm worthless
