The period part is not whats happening to your body. It's the implantation process, in which the egg is implanting itsself into the wall of your uterus, it may bring on bleeding, which doctors call spotting. Therefore you're not experiencing a period, but spotting. If you get severe abdominal pain, call your doc and get to a hospital. You could be having a miscarriage.

For my first pregnancy, I spotted for 3 days (as compared to my then normal, heavier 5-6 days) So it is possible.

Thanks to that little activity, they had my due date off by 1 month (they didn't do ultrasounds unless you had problems) and although "born early" according to the doctor he was a big (for me) nearly 8 lb baby.

If it is your normal period, I would guess that it is unlikely (though I have heard women say it happens)

If lighter than normal, you may be expecting.

Olivia, you are absolutely wrong, there have been plenty of women that have had a period for up to 6 months of their pregnancy...please don't answer a question and try to make it seem educated and you really don't know whats going on or you haven't researched it.

thats impossable. when you have your period your body is shedding the lining of the uterus. when you get pregnant your uterus is protecting the baby and you don't lose the lining. so it is impossable
