I'm not even going to respond to some things on here (besides, everyone is entitle to their own beliefs) but for an educational sake I wanted to inform you all of a couple facts you seem to be misguided on, if you are going to have something against Mormons whatever but at least get your info straight:

mrthing: not dishonest information. maybe from your viewpoint but mormons do believe the Book of Mormon to be an account from Native American ancestors. just so you know.

Bobby Jim: Mormons do not deny Jesus.
Mormons did not (out of respect for you I will try to keep my beliefs out it) simply 'add to the bible and God's word from their viewpoint'. If you believe in a God that cannot communicate with man when he desires than the God you believe in is not a supreme being. Mormons believe God can add new words and commandment when he so chooses. Do you really think God cannot say anymore than is written in the bible? Is God restricted?
Mormons do not 'equate' Jesus and Lucifer. We believe we are all children of God but we are not all the same.
When do Mormons take the Lords name in vain?
And finally, what is your definition of Christian? The dictionary defines a Christian as one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ. I believe in Christ. I am a member of the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints.

Thats all, I don't have time to write more. I just wanted those who would listen to know that many people have said untrue things (though I didn't respond to everything). And though some people still have things against Mormons, I want the truth about it to be known.

most "mormons" I have met have been seemingly good people who are otherwise misled by the deception of the mormon teaching.... I oppose the teaching of the mormons because it keeps those deceived from knowing The Truth of The Salvation Message... I absolutly know that the Teaching of the mormon cult is a deception of the forces of evil... I concider the mormons to be the Lost and Deceived by Satan(LDS)

All who fail to come to God as He prescribes will face eternal seperation from God... Only those who come to God in The Way He prescribes receive his free gift of Salvation. Those become part of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. Those are the ones of The True Christian Faith... Only those of The Chruch will enter heaven.

I don't have anything against Mormons in general, but I don't quite trust a faith that lies to get people interested.

One night when I was waiting tables, two people came in who seemed very nice. After talking to me a bit, and being friendly beyond the normal client boundries, they asked if I was interested in Native American History, and told me they had a book they thought that I would enjoy reading. Naively, I gave them my address. The next day, two Mormons showed up at my house with a Book of Mormon.

If they wanted to talk to me about their faith, I feel they should have been honest with me about that.

And no, I am not as naive now, and don't make a habit of giving strangers my address. I was younger then.

I think their origin story is even sillier than the bible, given when it was written.

I also think that the religious inspired laws they have enacted in Utah are an abomination.

But, on the whole, I have no more against the mormons than I do against the christians.

I have nothing against Mormons personally. They are probably the nicest people I've ever met. It is Mormon doctrine that I dislike, since it leads people astray. It is not biblical, teaches false gospels, and holds up a false prophet, Joseph Smith.

I am sorry so many nice people are deceived.

No problem with them. I want to know how they stay unsweaty in white dress shirts and riding a bike. Man I would never be able to do that. I walk from the car to the door and I have to take a shower although it probably is because I live in Texas. I don't know.

I live in a highly mormon area (60%) and my only issue is with the way they try to dictate what the entire community should do. They celebrate the 4th of July on the 5th if it falls on a Sunday, and they move Halloween to Saturday.

That's a big holiday in my faith and it insults me to see the city declare a change so that they can keep their Sabbath and still play holiday. It's like having your cake and eating it to... isn't the Sabbath about going without for your faith?

Other than that they are harmless, mostly kind people.

Because if you read the history of mormonism it pretty much sounds like Joseph Smith got drunk and passed out under a tree and then proceeded to make everything up.

-Plus they don't have real pastors who actually go to school.

-Plus they alway say "I know this religion to be true." If you have to keep repeating that to yourself how true is it.

-Plus I hate how some people equate it with Christianity.

-Plus the Book of Mormon reads like it's made up. It reads just like somebody read the bible and said "I can make something up like that that sounds just like the bible."

Why the dislike against Mormons??... nicely human beings tend to place down and dislike what they do no longer somewhat comprehend.. The prophet Stephen (a christian) had stones thrown at him and replaced into subsequently killed via a guy named Saul... to boot as some others(submit to in techniques) (..and did no longer Saul on the time he replaced into throwing stones at Stephen, think of he replaced into doing the lords paintings??.. Yeppers he did! ..then after being "enlightened" to his "misunderstandings" he grew to grow to be (the Apostle Paul) a "believer" or christian himself. ..oh and is not any longer a christian via definition somebody who "believes" that Jesus Christ is the son of God? ..i think of so! ...and what's the actual call of "Mormons" aaaa... i'm exceedingly confident this is the Church of "Jesus Christ" of Latter Day Saints. the place and why each and all of the confusion?? every physique who somewhat desires to comprehend or I would desire to possibly say "comprehend" greater suitable to the "actuality" and/or "Jesus Christ" (see they are the comparable difficulty) and his "teachings/gospel/church" (lower back the comparable difficulty) can with trustworthy humble prayer, scripture study and faith (bypass look that notice up contained in the Bible dictionary) in Jesus Christ. one greater difficulty.. why carry out a little human beings have faith Mormons don't have faith the/contained in the Bible.. or that they suspect greater contained in the e book of Mormon... this is not any longer actual! The leaders of the LDS Church have in no way taught this. i've got faith each bit the Bible to boot as different books to be the notice of God.

Mormons:
Deny the Deity of Jesus.
Have added words and books to God's Word.
Have equated Jesus and Lucifer.
Promote unbiblical teachings.
Have taken the name of the Lord in vain.
(Calling themselves Christian when they are not.)

Sincere folks;
Sincerely deceived.
