It's a good question.
I also noticed none of the responders actually even attempted to answer it...........

Here's the deal, sweetheart. There is no such thing on the planet as pure communism. If you look at the countries that call themselves communist, you will see that they are in fact not communist at all, but more like dictatorships, totalitarian, socialist, theocracies, or some other kind of system where there is a very centralized government that makes all the rules and are at the same time extraordinarily oppressive. Cuba comes to mind, as does China, the old Soviet Union, and others. True communism isn't really a form of government, but rather a theoretical economic system characterized by the collective ownership of property and by the organization of labor for the common advantage of all members. Cubans living in poverty with no voice of their own while their wealthy leader basks in a mansion doesn't sound much like "a common advantage" to me. Communism is a great theory, but you'r right, it allows the deadbeats to get a free ride. I put it to you that the Amish are probably the best example of how Communism could work, and those people are Christian, but don't tell anyone I said Amish are commies. By the way, the bible says more about helping the less-fortunate than most people think, but it also says that if a man doesn't work, (if he's capable) neither shall he eat. That just means get off your lazy butt and do something. Everyone has something to offer, and should be rewarded for it. That's the basis of communism.

Because many of the so-called "Christians" that post their crap here are basically focused on the "thou shalt not" part. They're basically law oriented and not compassion oriented.
They're more concerned about walking some "narrow line" than helping other human beings.
Jesus talked about "the least of these;" meaning people who were in dire straights for any number of reasons. People who for no reason of their own were in need of a helping hand.
All the hardcore cons can parrot is this tripe about "personal responsibility;" using it as an excuse to be miserly and cheap.
Anything...any program that helps others is labeled "socialist" by the small, cheap minds.
The thing many of these folks fail or refuse to accept is how perilously close they are to living in a cardboard box or homeless shelter. They're so smug in their affluence and "personal responsibility" that they think they're totally immune to financial ruin.
I'm betting there were a few Republicans down in New Orleans that got totally wiped out by Katrina and found themselves face-to-face with real and common adversity.

Because communist dogma denies the need for religion - most communist state outright ban religion, or put serious restrictions upon it - it is, at bottom, an athiest philosophy. You cannot be both a christian (or believer in any other religion) and a communist.
You can however be a perfectly good socialist and a good christian, so that technicality shouldn't be too much of an obstacle for leftist christians.
If you want to look at it from the christian PoV, the bible counsels charity, christians are supposed to be good to eachother, and indeed to any who are poor or in need. In communism, there is no charity: everyone works for the state, and the produce of thier labor is divided according to need (at least, ideally). An act of charity would be counter-revolutionary, because it would imply that the state gave you too much, and failed to provide for someone else. Muslims would run into a similar problem, since the giving of alms is a pillar of the faith, and doing so would be counter-revolutionary for the same reason.

you're a uncommon breed and could be proud. i'm a conservative self sustaining (on the fence) and it is so uncommon to work out everyone in politics asking those form of questions approximately that area of the backyard. sure, that's. it is likewise ignorant to miss appropriate to the crimes against humanity right here that are occurring, now. how many honor killings have made the information? enforcing Sharia regulation right here? sure, if it have been Christians, i'm fairly particular an excellent type could have the torches and pitchforks waiting whilst preparing the gallows. I definitely have no answer, i've got questioned this myself. that's a double-commonplace and attacking Christians would not make the questions approximately radical Muslim practices pass away or exempt them from the desire of solutions. It would not justify radical habit to quote a million or 2 fringe nuts in the previous 10 years, that have killed a million or 2 in finished, whilst the radicals have killed hundreds of our very own human beings in the previous 10 years and proceed to salary conflict against our u . s .. that's racist, elitist and condescending.

I don't feel like working anymore. Well, at least not at the stressful job I presently hold down.
You just keep on busting your tail to make good in life though, ok? When can I expect you to start sending me money to pay for my boat, jet skis, mortgage, cars and living expenses and keep everything "equal"??
I'll hold my breath.

Christians in America are divided between egalitarian equality and staunch conservatism.
Those that complain about the "lazy" tend to view religion as something that facilitates, not guides, their opinions, and is often in stark contrast with older views of egalitarian Christianity.
The "neo-con" approach revolves more around nationalists, televangelists, and cult groups NOT traditional Christians.
