how can i find out when my earned income tax credit refund was mailed to me?

You can call the IRS and ask for an update:
1-800-829-1040
If you're filing your taxes through the mail, expect 1-2 months.

If it is for federal, go to www.irs.gov and click the "where's my refund" link. After you enter your information it will tell you if your refund has been issued.

State or local?? LOL! Try either one and they'll say they are so busy, etc etc ..
Better wait until the middle of May. then you might try calling.
If Federal, figure 6-9 weeks from when you mailed it, at least.
