I was invited to an italian wedding recently and the invitation had no gift registry. Does that mean they do not want a gift or does it mean they want money? I'm not sure if this a cultural thing because I'm not italian and I am not sure of their traditions.

We got informed that he is fighting for his life, right now. Or he can be paralized from this. Is this a though thing to survive from, my friend is very young he's 14, and I'd be devastated if he died so young. In the beginning of the school year, he was pretty normal, but towards the end of the year, he couldn't walk without a cast.

I'm after some links, or the like, to do with Pain management, or pain relief therapy... Just looking them up, it only comes up with stuff like acupuncture, or meditation... I'm after something to do with controlling the pain with your mind (Not hypnosis) so you can't feel it, or you can deal with it easier.

Is there anything that I can take that is safe that will help me to stop smoking. During my first pregnacy long ago, the smell of cigarette smoke made me sick. I am very early in pregnacy but what can I possibly take that would not be harmful to the baby. I still have terrible cravings for cigarettes.

Well, im not white and not black but I have been living in Northern Minnesota for all my life. It comes to a thing about evolution how different people have different skin, whites live in the north, dark in the south, so ect...

My dad has tanned skin and so does my mother but shes has a little white skin. Every year or so I have been previous tan, but my skin is turning white. I have white skin all over my arms, and legs, toes.

So heres the question, Am I evolving and turning white skin?

btw I heard that white people that live in the south graduallly turn dark to adapt to the area.

I have layered hair, and I straighten it daily because it has a really nasty "some wave some not" look to it otherwise. I straighten it, then an hour later the top layers start to go inwards and it gets super-poofy. I ask my hairdresser to use those shears thin it out, but it always seems to come back after a few days. I have tried conditioners up to wazoo, but nothing seems to work. What should I do? (Also, if anyone knows tips to make my hair hold a curl, please tell me!)

I don't personal do this, but I know some people that do.
In order to train their puppy to not whine, urinate in the house, chew things up, etc., they rub their noses in it and swat them.
Does this method really work? Do you think it is abuse?
What would you sugggest is the best way to train your puppy yourself?

My brother just told me something quite disturbing. My aunt is schizophrenic and he told me when he was around 8 years old she told him about her first sexual experience in somewhat graphic detail. Later on, at around 11 or 12 years old he can't remember she used to fondle him down there if you catch my drift. In the midst of puberty he admitted to me he felt sexual attraction towards her and often fantasized about it and he felt she reciprocated his feelings..which isn't surprising based on how she acted before. He claims they never actually did anything, but he feels super guilty that the thought even crossed his mind back then. He said he doesn't know what happened but now he feels dirty and disgusting and he hates himself. He even talked about suicide which scares me. It's like he can't live with himself. He keeps saying its his fault because he felt it. Is this true? What can I tell him? When I found out I ratted my aunt out to my mom and of course she denies any wrong behavior.

I know this is a bit counter-intuitive due to the fact logic says you should attempt to lower the numbers you report to the IRS. However, lets say your small business made $2,000 in profits as your side business on $15,000 in revenue ($15,000 - $13,000 cost of goods). What would happen if you, for example, say your business made $1,500,000 in revenues, and with $1,498,000 cost of goods?

Its still the same profit, and you're not evading your taxes in any way. Just simply grossly overstating them to make your business seem larger than it really is.

I would like to hear some comments on this, and please, no rude remarks.
