I can't even understand the concept of original sin and further I don't understand how anyone with love in their heart could.

I believe both. I believe that sin is passed down from generation to generation, from the man's seed. That is why Jesus had to be born of a virgin. But I also believe that we are born innocent even though we have the evil seed implanted in us. I believe this because the Bible says that Jesus ransomed us, bought us, redeemed us. This means that at one time, we were in right standing with God. I believe that this was before we conscientiously chose to sin when we knew it was wrong. This is at the age of accountability, when we are held accountable for our actions.

Neither- I believe in Karma and Reincarnation. Neither of the other two make sense. Why is a child born blind and poor and another born rich and healthy. It is because in their past lives they did something to deserve that. "What goes around comes around. God doesn't say "eeny meany miney moe you get that for no reason and you get this for no reason.' There is nothing fare or loving about that. Why would He make you suffer immensely for someone esles mistake and another enjoy. That is all nonsense. Christ taught reincarnation but Constantine changed many things in the bible. If you want the original new Testament where the original teachings of Christ are. google gospelofthenazirenes.co One must understand Karma and reincarnation to understand the all loving merciful nature of God other wise He is merciless. and HE is not. for Vedic perspective go to harekrishnatemplel.co Read Bhagavad Gita As it is BY Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada

I believe we are all born innocent, but we all have a tendency to sin unknowingly at an early age. We are innocent in the sense of not knowing right from wrong, and we need to be taught proper behavior (any Mom with several children has found this out for herself!).

A child does not need to be taught how to lie or cheat or steal. He will simply do these to further his own best interests. This is the outworking of the sinful nature in all of us. The biblical consequence of sin is evident at any age, such as dying young, selfishness, lack of peace, feelings of guilty, anxiety, loss of control, hatred, lack of biblical self-esteem, and so on.

When we know to do better and choose to sin, then we are no longer innocent, but are guilty. This is where Jesus comes in. He came to bear the consequences of our sin and set us free from them. It takes time, but we can trust Him, yielding all to Him, and walk in peace, strength, and love.

well a child is born innocent in the sense that it hasn't ever sinned, but Original Sin begins to show when the child can act on its own and refuses to obey its parents.

The original sin only implies to us being removed from the presence of God, and that we will die. A person is going to be judged on what they know and how they acted upon it.
