I'm after some links, or the like, to do with Pain management, or pain relief therapy... Just looking them up, it only comes up with stuff like acupuncture, or meditation... I'm after something to do with controlling the pain with your mind (Not hypnosis) so you can't feel it, or you can deal with it easier.

Sorry if you can't follow... it's hard to describe.

i don't know how sever your pain is but what i have found is that 1-81/2 (1 being weak and ten being take me to the hospital and knock my tush out!) can be helped with a massage and some pain relieving lotion. Avon has some that works til about 4 1/2. its about 4$ a tube. use ice and heat alternates for no more then 15 min. for ice and no more then 20mins for heat every hr. or get some icy hot. if all else fails see a chiropractor be for you go into the emergency room. good luck hope you feel better.

My mom has been a chronic fatigue and Fibromyalgia sufferer for years, and throughout those years, ive learnt a couple of things:
drugs will always beat the system =[
opiates and benzos' are the best
anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxers are crap
changing your diet and keeping up with your body so that you dont quit it! (exercise does wonders, along with stretching and being as fit as you possibly can in the area with the most pain)
keeping your bones and joints lubricated is a godsend.
drink water!!!!
drink water!!!
drink water!!
you guessed it, drink water. your body is made of bla bla percent water. imagine life without water. your body can only go 3 days without water. try a trial run on your body. drink ONLY water for three days. then switch to coffee, tea, soda, ... see how many hours you can go before you start feeling tired, exhausted and not being able to keep up with your mind. fasting helps somewhat.
look at the tibetian munks. they drink from the mountain springs and eat rice all day. how do you think they practice mind over matter? mind over body is the same thing. it starts with being healthy. I KNOW that you are not healthy, just because you asked the question "how can i feel better?"
please read about vitamins and absorbtion, make a chart about how many calories your body needs per day, keep drinking healthy (a glass or two or three of red wine wont kill you..)
but make sure you drink enough water...

Please understand that all hypnosis is self hypnosis....
Hypnosis teaches you to use your mind in a manner that you have not used in a few minutes... You have been in trance state several times today. Watching TV, games sports dreaming etc ad nasium.
A person who has learned to do the pain control techniques has complete control of pain. I have clients that have had root canals done with out chemical or gas anesthesia. have babies ,minor surgery etc.etc.
Find your self a hypnotist who will teach you" glove anesthesia
and how to control it,and transfer it and do it. If they do not teach with the technique, keep looking . Your hypnotist will probably bee a older person ...
