Just to help someone that doesn't even appreciate it?

I saw my mother do that for many years and it hurts me to remember all she did for someone that never returned appreciation back to her. I refuse to do the same when I can.

I am sure that this has happened to anyone who tries to help others. But don't let another persons thoughtlessness,ruin the good feeling that you have inside.

If you need appreciation you are not really helping, and they know your real motives and feel belittled by your attempt at self gratification. To help without wanting to appreciated is true kindness.
