I wondered how you feel that your taxes is spent on the anhialation of countless thousands of innocent civilans who's only wish in life is to live in peace? Meanwhile the Arms Industry is laughing all the way to their Offshore Bank, Bush included.

We are currently selling our business. We had an interested buyer look at it yesterday with our real estate agent. My son was working at the time and said he looked really interested while looking around. Just wondering how long it usually takes from a showing to getting an offer. ok so i asked this girl to prom and she said i dont know i might be going with someone else. what does this mean? and what should i do? We have known each other for a long time but are more of aquaintences then good friends i asked one of her really good friends if the girl was going to prom with anybody and her friend said no she wasnt and that i should defintly ask her. I asked her today. Well, I always thought my Humane society [the one I got both my dogs from!] was a no kill shelter. That they would keep any animal for all its life if it wasn't adopted. Now I read this on the site

"# Animals are evaluated for adoptability and must meet our criteria for GOOD HEALTH and GOOD TEMPERAMENT.
# If the animal you surrendered meets our criteria it will be placed up for adoption and we do not have a preset time limit.
# Animals must remain in good health, both physically and emotionally. Animals not meeting our adoption criteria are humanely euthanized (painlessly put to death) by injection."

So is it considered no-kill or not? I think no because they only do it for the best of the animal.. like if they are suffering or if it was placed in a home, they'd see it was unstable and the dog would get a bad life/abused/put to sleep anyways/left on the street.

I believe it was Aristotle who said that reason is the only thing that separates humans from animals; therefore we should achieve things that go beyond what animals can achieve, but still animals none the less. Yet I hear many people saying that we are not animals at all. While I do believe that we are different from most animals, as far as our basic natural instincts go we are animals. Obviously, there are some people who are going to agree with me and some who won't, but what is your view on this?
