A couple of weeks ago she had x-rays, which were helpful, as she was not having reflux at the time. I did find out, however, that she has a slow esophagus, too. Just this week, the doctor increased her Zantac (to correspond with her weight gain) and has me mixing cereal in her bottle (to help keep it down). Nevertheless, she's still clearly uncomfortable, crying, spitting up, having violent episodes of hiccups, etc. I've pretty much given up on breastfeeding because I'm no longer producing milk since I am not eating, drinking, or sleeping. She is also not sleeping; I'm lucky if she gets 8 hours total in a 24 hour period. The other day, she was up from 11:30 in the morning until 4:30 the next morning, crying the whole time. The only way to quiet her is to give her a bottle, which she sucks and chews on (but doesn't eat). I am going back to work in less than 2 weeks, and I was hoping she'd be feeling better by then. What can I do to make this more bearable for both of us?

I wanted to make me food. So i turned the oven on to preheat. I came back to my home, on the other side of the house to do homeowrk. I forgot about the oven being on. And than about 30 minutes later I remembered because my stomach was still growling. So I put the food in the oven. What could happen? I'm not sure if anything. But I just want to be sure. It was on for 30 minutes before I put the food in and my food will take 23 minutes.

She drew some bad pictures of another girl at school and got in serious trouble at school. She was grounded already for throwing a fit about something dumb and at that time it was a week and she could slowly earn back privleges. She is only nine and I think she will forget why she is being punished if I go too long.

Let me just begin by stating I am the proud owner of a Chevy Surburban, and let me just admit I am not the best driver there is. My brother is one of the skeptics who claim that it was a terrorist attack, despite there being dozens and dozens of facts that suggest otherwise.

His biggest question was - "If the government was in on it, why has no one come forward. For something this big, you need hundreds of people in on it, why has not one of them come forward with the truth?"

How can I answer that?

And I don't want other skeptics answering this question, please.

I want to put baroque glass instead of plain glass in two cabinet doors in my kitchen.

The baroque glass has two sides that aren't very different, only slightly:

Only one side has the edge of the swirl sticking out. You can feel the unevenness when you run your hand on the surface of that side.

My question is, which side faces the inside of the cabinet? The groovey side, or the smooth side?

I've been asking different questions as too if your spouses do the silent treatment type of thing to you and if so for how long.

Well, my husband finally broke the silence and told me what was going on. The song "I know she still loves me, but I don't think she likes me anymore" comes to mind. He says he loves me and doesn't want a divorce but that he isn't happy in this marriage. He's thinking of moving out for a while to do some soul searching.

He says I have became too dependent on him and that he wants me to stand on my own two feet if he has to force me to do it. (I was already in the process of getting a full time job before this stuff even started!) I mentioned to him that he told me when we had our daughter he wanted me home with her and that I already intended to improve myself now that she is school age.

He says he stays out with his friends all the time because they talk to him and I won't. The thing is...he doesn't talk either. I try to make idle chit chat!

I have these horrific bushes all over our backyard. I'm not sure what they are (I'd love to know) - they are thorny, turn orangish-red in the fall, and have yellow root systems that look like they belong to a 7000 year old tree. I started digging some of them out last fall, when the soil was moist, and couldn't believe how extensive some of the root systems are. Anyway, I have a large cluster of them that I have to remove in the spring, and my plan as of now was just to cut back the branches and dig out the roots as best I can. I would love any suggestions on how to make this easier, or how to better ensure they won't grow back. I'm hesitant about using poisons b/c I am clearing the spot for a swingset and my toddler will be playing back there quite a bit. I'm sure at some point in his life he's going to decide he simply must know what dirt tastes like. I'd love any information on what these bushes are, and how to best get rid of them. I live in southwestern Connecticut. Thanks!
