Your're kidding right?? There have been many! The most famous of course was The Watergate Scandal. Also check into the Franklin Cover-up and others. Check out the smoking gun or wikipedia to get more stuff to research.

Watergate. But that was before Nixon actually became president, so I don't know if that really is a "government conspiracy".

I think that many see Waco as a "government conspiracy" because it involved the "wrong doing" of a government agency. Again, I don't know if that would really be found to qualify, but I am throwing it out there.

And if you have been on here often enough, there are many of the "conspiracy theorists" that feel that 9/11 was a government conspiracy. Personally, I think that is ludicrous, but it is out there, and there are those that believe it.

lol everything is a conspiracy :P

9/11 was and is a conspiracy. this has been proven to a fact!

i wont get into details bout this. too much to type. They have proven that the twin towers should never EVER in a million years come down due to fire. its an impossiblity. The twin towers were built to withstand such heat. Experts tested this theory. They set ablaze fires to high rise buildings in america and argentina just to see what would happen. They duplicated the heat which wwere in the twin towers. Same scenerio minus the planes of course.

Those buildings were burning for over 24 hours, and it still did not come down. They also found burnt steel in the basement/foundation. Why would there be anything burnt down there? The theory is, and every demolation expert agreed... Only strategically placed c4 could bring a building like the twin towers down wihtin minutes, perfectly straight down. when in fact, those buildings should never had fallen due to the immense heat. never!

also, if you dont believe that one, then how bout this one:

phone calls were made that day to passangers loved ones. saying stuff like oh mah gawd, there terrorist. im scared. blah blah. when infact, they tested this as well.
to make a phone call at say 30 thousand feet, they proved youd have a 1% chance of actually connecting that call at such a height. soo?

trust me, what we know is only a fraction of what really goes on.

Well I did a lot of research on government conspiracies for a college research paper and out of all those that are commonly vocalized, the only one that I really believe is a true conspiracy is the Oklahoma City Bombing.
