It is not a virus. It is a poisoin from certain sea creatures.

I will not list it exactly because I don't want to indirectly endanger anyone's life. Because too much of this poisoin and you are dead for real.

There was an african illness associated with the zombie virus, i cant think of the same but it might be a start, tis how the zombie myth came to play. People caught the virus and where put through the burial ceremony as they where belived to be dead. No heart beat could be felt and they wherent breathing, but then durin ght eceremony they "arose" from the dead, looking dead. Its acutally quite interesting, but see if you can find it sorry i couldnt remember the name.
