I want to put baroque glass instead of plain glass in two cabinet doors in my kitchen.

The baroque glass has two sides that aren't very different, only slightly:

Only one side has the edge of the swirl sticking out. You can feel the unevenness when you run your hand on the surface of that side.

My question is, which side faces the inside of the cabinet? The groovey side, or the smooth side?

The swirl side goes out. The swirl side is the one that exhibits the art of the glass. The smooth side goes inside the cabinet.

The correct was is smooth side out, but this depends which side you really like the look of. The reason it is smooth side out is because the crevices collect dust and kitchen oils etc. and can be very hard to clean, so instead of getting the look you want it will just look dirty in a few months time.It is a very beautiful glass and I hope you achieve the look you want.

Did you chose the glass for the look?

If so you put the swirl side out.

the last set of cabinet doors i made with german cracked glass i installed the uneven side out. it looks better and your strips that hold the glass in have a flat surface to rest against.

If it were me I would put the groovy side on the inside. I think it would catch alot of kitchen dirt on the outside, and the effect would still show through from inside. Its not wrong if you like the look no matter which you choose.
