I have a very close friend who is straight and is aware of my orientation. (no secrets) Anyway we arranged to meet out for dinner on Thursday over the phone at which point he said he was looking forward to it. When he arrived, he totally ignored me and would barely speak to me. he eventually left early and now will not even take my calls. I am at a total loss as to what happened. Somewhere between our initial phonecall and actual meeting he completely turned on me and will not have anything to do w/ me !!
Our friendship has always been one of mutual respect and enjoyment, and out of the blue for no reason given I am being shunned. I am very hurt by his behavior towards me and the worst part is that I don't know why I am being treated this way. Is it possible that his girlfriend or someone else said something nasty to him ? Please help !! I am trying to understand !!!

I am a stay at home mom and my husband works in sales (which means he comes home late ~ around 8 or 9). When I ask him to help with our 2 year old son, he tells me no. For example, I had people coming over and needed to cook...but I also needed to give our son a bath. He came home from work and I asked him if he could give our son a bath. He said...No..I don't do that. I got extremely upset with him and we had a big arguement. He told me that I don't do anything but watch tv and sit around with our son during the day. I cook, clean, take care of our son and go food shopping but that's nothing in his eyes.
It's not like I'm asking him to help me out all the time...I just needed him to help me out for once. I told him that he's the one missing out. That our son is not going to remember any bonding times with his father because I'm the one who is doing everything for him. I just want him to WANT to help me out. What else can I do?
