Remove the complete transmission or transaxle, whatever you have, and slide the convertor off of the input shaft. I would inspect the pump and such while it is apart too. Then reseal the pump and install a new convertor seal, then slip the new convertor onto the input shaft and make sure it goes all the way in as you have to wiggle and turn the convertor to slip the pump drives into place before it is fully seated. I assume its front wheel drive.the complete transaxle assembly has to come out.but my question is why would you replace just the t-converter.if it failed in any way.the trans will probably need a overhaul.
