How do you finish Inspector Parker: BeTrapped!?

once you get to the garden, cant get the bug spray (beside the cat). How do i get it?

Go into the next garden (on the right) and get the catnip from the box (it's a little hard to pick up) and use it on the cat. The flowerbox with the catnip is the one in the middle on the right.
