I have a very troubling situation. I had a very abusive childhood where I was isolated and made to feel people were unsafe. I used to be told that people would rip me apart and I did not see other children until age 5. I was terrified of them to say the least. Mother had agoraphobia and mental health problems. I have a lot of insight so I was able to get through years of torture fairly well except I have always suffered from insecurity due to such a dreadful past. I want my daughter to fit in so I joined a playgroup, she is under one year and I try to fit in and be friendly for both our sakes but I find it painful, like people sense my oddity. I cannot help but be odd as I was emotionally tortured and unfortunately it is hard to resocialize myself at such a late age.. Is there anything I can do to hide, or overcome my strangeness so that I fit in .. I want my daughter to have lots of friends and a great social life and I do not want to hinder her development?

First, I am 39 weeks today, and VERY ready to have my baby boy in my arms rather than on my bladder!!! Okay, on Monday night from about 11:30pm until 1:20 am I had contractions that ranged from about 12 minutes apart to about 5 minutes apart. Then, at 1:20, they just stopped. I know this is normal but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so, how soon after did you deliver?

An 80 year old man went for his annual check-up and the Doctor said "Friend, for your age, you're in the best shape I've seen."

The old fella replied, "I know for sure that I live a good, clean, spiritual life."

The Doctor ask him, "What makes you say that?"

The old man replied, "If I didn't live a good, clean life, the Lord wouldn't turn the bathroom lights on for me everytime I get up in the middle of the night."

The Doc was concerned, "You mean, the Lord himself turns the light on for you?"

"Yep," the old man said, "whenever I get up to go to the bathroom, the Lord turns the light on for me."

Well, the Doctor didn't say anything else, but when the old man's wife came in for her check-up, he felt he had to let her know what her husband said. "Your husband's in fine physical shape, but I'm worried about his mental condition. He told me that the Lord turns on the bathroom light for him!"

"AAhhh" say's the wife "So its him thats been peeing in the fridge!"

I do like the style, but Sam (boyfriend) is Very pale and blond. I don't think it will have the full effect and he isn't totally keen on the idea of putting a colour on it.
