I'm 39 weeks and I lost my mucus plug this morning. Last week at my docs appt. I was 2cm dilated and 70% effaced. Now what happens?

You will be having a baby soon. I lost my mucus plug 6 days before my daughter was born. I have heard of women losing it then having baby sooner as well. Good luck. God bless and Congratulations!!!

You oftentimes dont loose your mucus plug till basically in the previous exertions occurs...I see youre due could twenty 9th (Im due May22nd) so in case you think of youve lost your mucus plug i could call your record, because of the fact to my know-how that's what protects your infant and your uterus from micro organism...Oh and that i dont think of its dried up, im valuable its a great slimy clump of mucus that sounds like snot(TMI i be responsive to).

You are still just waiting. I lost my plug at 36 weeks, and didn't have the baby until 38 weeks. You're well on your way though.

you wait for labor to begin, probably within 72 hours, congrats and rest up.
