It depends on the context when that term is used. For example, if someone is going Bonnie and Clyde on you then they are probably robbing and/or shooting you. If you and your lover are Bonnie and Clyde, it would mean than your in love with each other, but have a disfunctional relationship yet cannot leave each others side. Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were friends, lovers and criminals from the 1930's. Clyde was pretty much a career criminal, and Bonnie was a waitress. One day after getting out of jail, Clyde recalled his old friend whom he was attracted to. He stopped by and told her he'd give her the world if she'd be his girl. Stuck in a small Texas town with no hope for a future, Bonnie accepted. She was soon to realize that Clyde was pulling bank jobs to get money and she enjoyed the thrill and joined him. She too became very good at the came of robbing banks. They hung out with different criminals of the era and their gangs and even formed their own Clyde Barrow gang. The G men were hot for them after they murdered two highway patrol officers in cold blood. They managed to elude the law and escaped from several police ambushes, where in one Clyde's brother Buck was shot and killed and his brothers wife Blanch was captured and arrested. They had a very disfunctional relationship where Clyde just found it difficult to take care of "things", yet Bonnie stuck by his side till the end. Bonnie and Clyde were shot to death in a police ambush on a lonely back road after being given up by a former gang member turned snitch. Clyde is buried next to his brother Buck in the south side of Dallas a mile or two from the famous Dealey Plaza where president Kennedy was shot. Bonnie was originally buried nearby, but was moved to a cemetary on the west end of Dallas not far from Love Field. I've visited both graves.
