For some obscure reason I cannot SMS people in France when I carry an Israeli cell phone. I can do it to many other countries (India, USA, UK, Senegal, etc.) but not to France.

The interesting thing is that I can receive SMS from France to my Israeli cell phone but not the other way around.

Anybody has an explanation for that?

if you found your boyfriend had a myspace page and didnt tell you, and he had girls on there that left him msgs AND when you created a page he got mad.

the thing is my boyfriend has lied to me b4 and me being stupid stayed with him, hes never cheated, or atleast ive never caught him, but he lies about little things and it makes me wonder if he lies about that then what else is he lying about, and he blew up when i asked him about his myspace plus on his page it said he was single, we've been together for 2 years. also on the page he talks about sara who has been his best friend for 2 years? whos that?!? he told me his cousin!

i am so upset right now! do i have a right to be angry? i told him i was done!

I rent a house and recently during the wonderful downpours of rain , the water came running in around the beams above the fireplace. My lap top was soaked. It will not work. I have spoken to the Real Estate agent and am not happy with the response that my landlord evidentaly has Landlord Insurance but says Bad Luck. If I had left my Laptop outside in the rain , the damage would be my fault. But how does a leaking roof become my fault? Landlord says water ran in under the flashing around the chimney. Surely this is the landlords responsibility. What is Insurance for? Can anyone out there help me resolve this matter? What steps can I take to resolve this matter? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou

I know there are upscaling dvd players but since most monitors can handle higher resolution than tvs and also progressive format I was wondering if there was such a thing as a software upscaling programme to display my dvd movie in a higher resolution via my pc monitor. Anyhone heard of this method or know any links ?

grow up with both a mom and dad, living a otherwise "normal" life with both parents then around age 18 they split and you find out things were never "ok" and learn of all the lies and cheating that you never saw before or grow up with divorced parents and all that comes with that.. the back and forth the in laws the everything we all know that comes of that.

I was reading an article about how undisciplined our kids are and a couple of pages later where a police arrested a family for spanking their child. Are we to go through these " time outs, talkings and other psychological assessments" and let our kids grow up with the notion that if the adults "get out of line, call 911", or do we risk that and discipline our kids accordingly without the fear of " society" coming down on us for alleged abuse! I am so sick of society calling the parents to chastise their children and then switch out on them when they do. I believe either we do it or we wait until prison officials do it. At that time it is to late and our kids will be "beaten" by people who don't really care!

I have been on the percocet for about three months. I am still having a hard time walking for long periods of time, bending over is almost impossible, and I still have a tremendous amount of pain. My doctor says that it is policy that they treat you for 90 days after surgery, then you no longer receive the pain meds. I only have a two day dosage left. I need to know how I can detox myself without dying. I don't snort them or anything or take them to get high, but it doesn't really matter why you were taking them, the withdrawals are the same, right? Anyway, any advice on how I could make the ordeal less suffering would be appreciated. Thanks!

God is too big a power to be comprehended by reading Bible or Koran or Bhagwadgita. The scriptures also tell us the necessity of having a spiritual guide.
We find many so called preachers of divine knowledge in this world. We get confused and get trapped into the net cast by these self professed pretenders. In the process we are deprived of the meeting with a true saint which I am sure is available around. Is it possible to find Him despite all the odds?

It's a serious question and need be answered only by true reasearchers.

I am 31 and I didn't think I would have to worry about this problem so soon. I had a really stressfull year in 2006 and I am noticing my skin doesn't have as much elasticity and I have more wrinkles (like on my foreghead and around my eyes). Does anyone know of any cosmetic creams that actually work? Not interested in anything else. Price doesn't matter. Thanks so much!

I have a friend who has been working for a company in California since this past September. She has been working at two separate positions for this company (She works 20 hours at one position and 20 hours at the other totaling 40 hours per week). According to her company policies, she has nearly worked long enough at this company to become eligible for medical and dental benefits. However, when she approached her supervisor about this, she said that she was ineligible for these benefits because the company does not view her as a full-time associate. The company views her as working two part-time positions for two different branches of the company. My friend is positive that she is working under the same branch and is flustered. Is there a California/Federal labor law she can show to her company, or is she out of luck?
